Universal torque indicator fitting with positive lock feature
11933339 · 2024-03-19 · ·

A fitting assembly includes an indicator assembly that provides a visual indication of torque value to verify when the desired operational torque value is achieved. The fitting assembly includes a nut, and a visual indicator assembly positioned on the nut which has a plurality of visual indicators that provide a visual indication of a torque level being applied. A sleeve is attached to the nut and includes a window through which a portion of the visual indicators is visible based on the torque level being applied. A resilient member couples the sleeve to the nut. As the nut is rotated to apply torque to the nut, the resilient member biases the sleeve in a fixed position and the nut rotates relative to the sleeve, whereby the visual indicator assembly rotates relative to the sleeve to alter which portion of the visual indicator assembly is visible through the window to provide a visual indication of when the operational torque level is being applied. The fitting assembly includes a positive locking feature that interacts with a serrated portion of a nipple fluid connection to positively lock a position of the nut to prevent nut loosening.

A hose mounting assembly that includes a mounting member having a base and a main body portion. The main body portion includes first and second ends, a curved tie tunnel defined therethrough, and a curved mounting surface. The base includes a first connection opening defined therethrough.

CONDUIT CONNECTION WITH SENSOR

Apparatus and method for mechanically attached connections of conduits may include a conduit gripping member, a drive member, and a seal member, the drive member causing axial movement of the conduit gripping member to indent into an outer surface of the conduit when the assembly is pulled-up, the drive member causing the seal member to form a zero clearance seal at a location that is axially spaced from the conduit gripping member. The zero clearance seal may comprise a face seal arrangement including a gasket, and the conduit gripping member may be a ferrule, ring or other device that can grip and optionally seal against the conduit outer surface. The assembly may include a sensing function for detecting or sensing a characteristic or condition of an assembly component or the fluid or both. In one embodiment, a body coupling member has a two piece construction of a main body and a conduit socket insert. A flared fitting embodiment is also provided. Sensing functions are also incorporated into fittings other than just zero clearance fittings.

Pipe connector for connecting two pipe sections
10386000 · 2019-08-20 · ·

A pipe connector may include a lower motion link and an upper motion link, which may be fastened so as to be pivotable towards each other about a pivot axis. The lower motion link may have a lower seating for one of the pipe sections, and a bearing surface for the connection flange of the first pipe section. The upper motion link may have an upper seating for the other of the pipe sections, and a bearing surface for the connection flange of the second pipe section. The pivot axis may be aligned substantially at right angles to an axial direction of the lower seating and of the upper seating for the pipe sections. In a closed state, the bearing surfaces may be facing each other so that the connection flanges of both pipe sections may be able to be clasped.

PIPE CONNECTOR
20190219201 · 2019-07-18 ·

An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication is provided. The apparatus comprises a connector body having opposing open ends, each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe; a mechanical interlock arrangement, for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body; and a mechanical seal arrangement for providing a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of said open ends and the connector body.

ALIGNMENT TOOL FOR POSITIONING AND ALIGNING TUBULAR SECTIONS
20190210168 · 2019-07-11 · ·

An alignment tool for positioning and aligning the adjacent ends of pipes in optimum desired relation for joining the tubular sections by welding. The alignment tool comprises a first and second annularly shaped clamping rings and a plurality of swivel assemblies connecting and circumferentially spaced about the first and second clamping rings, wherein the swivel assemblies adjust the distance between the first and second clamping rings and adjust the first and second clamping rings transversely and axially with respect to each other. Each swivel assembly comprises a first swivel portion connected to the first clamping ring, a second swivel portion connected to the second clamping ring, and a threaded bolt extending through the first swivel portion and the second swivel portion. The first swivel portion comprises an axel alignment swivel including a longitudinal shaft with a first partial spherical portion at its center, wherein the first partial spherical portion is retained within a bore extending through the first clamping ring. The second swivel portion comprises a second partial spherical portion that is retained within a bore extending through the second clamping ring.

Method and apparatus to assemble a high purity liquid distribution system
12023873 · 2024-07-02 · ·

A method and apparatus for assembling a high purity liquid distribution system is described. A distal end portion of the tube is heated then pushed over a sleeve so that the distal end portion can have a shrink seal fit over the sleeve to mitigate accidental or inadvertent pull out of the tube from a fitting. Other benefits are also achieved such as minimal flow restriction of the liquid flowing through the joint and the tube.

COMBINED AIR FITTING

An apparatus can include a fluid access assembly. The fluid access assembly can include a first fluid access configured to pass first fluid with a first fluid pressure. The fluid access assembly can include a second fluid access configured to pass second fluid with a second fluid pressure. The first fluid pressure can be greater than the second fluid pressure. The first fluid access can be concentric with the second a fluid ir access.
