The generator trailer and the gas turbine trailer is positioned at a work site such that the generator trailer and the gas turbine trailer are in an end-to-end configuration. The gas turbine trailer is operably coupled to the generator trailer.

A method of assembling a mobile electric power generation system includes using a generator trailer having an electric generator, a gas turbine trailer having a gas turbine, an exhaust trailer configured to exhaust air, and an air filter and ventilation trailer having an anti-icing system. The generator trailer and the gas turbine trailer is positioned at a work site such that the generator trailer and the gas turbine trailer are in an end-to-end configuration. The gas turbine trailer is operably coupled to the generator trailer.

A device for cutting an aerial obstacle includes a mounting frame; an anchor point for attachment to a hoist; a cutter mounted to the mounting frame, the cutter having opposing cutting blades for engaging and cutting the obstacle when positioned therebetween; a power supply mounted to the mounting frame, the power supply providing power to the cutter for actuating the cutting blades; and a guiding frame extending from the mounting frame, the guiding frame providing an inner guiding surface for directing the obstacle to a position between the opposing cutting blades of the cutter. The device is usable for cutting aerial obstacles, such as cables, beams and/or branches.

A pump support assembly includes a skid having a top surface and a bottom surface configured to movably rest on the ground; and a frame for supporting a pump, the frame having a main body, and two wings extending from opposite sides of the main body substantially perpendicular to the main body, the frame supported on the top surface of the skid and connected to the skid at an end of one of the wings to isolate a pump support surface of the frame from deformations of the skid.

Mobile power generation systems and methods for minimizing bending forces associated with support include providing a trailer including a rear end, a front end, a bottom end, and a top end, a gas turbine housed inside the trailer, an electrical generator coupled to the gas turbine to generate electricity and housed inside the trailer, and one or more support jacks configured to support a base at the bottom end of the trailer with respect to a ground. The base includes a closed cell base structure, the closed cell base structure including a rigid surface to be mounted on top of the one or more support jacks, the closed cell base structure configured to include a sufficient amount of torsional stiffness to provide torsional stability and assist with distribution of uneven loads due to variance of forces from the one or more support jacks against the rigid surface.

A genset chassis for mounting a genset includes an engine and generator thereon includes a pair of inner beams and an outer beam coupled to an outer sidewall of a corresponding inner beam. The outer beams are vertically offset from the corresponding inner beam such that at least a portion of the outer beams is higher than a corresponding inner beam. The outer beams are structured to be positioned on mounting members positioned on a surface so that a first distance between the at least a pair of inner beams and the surface is less than a second distance between the plurality of outer beams and the surface. The inner beams are structured to mount at least a portion of the genset thereon such that a part of the at least a portion of the genset is lower than the plurality of outer beams.

A genset chassis for mounting a genset includes an engine and generator thereon includes a pair of inner beams and an outer beam coupled to an outer sidewall of a corresponding inner beam. The outer beams are vertically offset from the corresponding inner beam such that at least a portion of the outer beams is higher than a corresponding inner beam.
