A method and apparatus for moving pipe rehabilitation objects, such as a pipe liner through a host pipeline. Flexible tubing is used to connect to the pipe rehabilitation object and to apply a force to cause the pipe rehabilitation objection to move through host pipeline. The flexible tubing is also capable of conveying a fluid, such as a lubricant through the tubing.

LUBRICANT FLOW CONTROL MANAGEMENT FOR SAW GUIDES

A saw guide for a saw arbor guide assembly comprises a head, a body, and one or more passages. The head has one or more intake channels adapted to supply lubricant to the saw guide. The body is connected to the head, with the body located between adjacent ones of the saw blades. The body has first and second faces, with the body further having a plurality of lubricant openings located on one or both of the first and second faces for supplying the lubricant to the saw blades. The passages extend through the head and the body and connect each of the intake channels with the lubricant openings, with the passages configured to carry lubricant from the one or more intake channels to the lubricant openings. For each of the lubricant openings, a flow control valve is located in the passage proximate to the lubricant opening to control a flow of lubricant through the lubricant opening. The flow control valves are configured to differentially control the flow of lubricant to the lubricant openings.

MOTION GUIDANCE DEVICE

A guide device includes a track member and a moving member engaged with the track member with a plurality of rolling elements interposed therebetween. A lubricating path is formed in the moving member for supplying lubricant to a circulation path for the rolling elements. The lubricating path has a common path including an inlet portion that serves as a supply port for the lubricant, a first path through which grease flows, and a second path through which lubricating oil flows. A cross-sectional area of the second path is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the first path, and in the common path, a second communication portion of the second path is located closer to the inlet portion than a first communication portion of the first path. Further, the guide device includes a plug member for blocking the inlet portion of the common path, the plug member being removable and able to be moved within the common path.

MONITORING SYSTEM FOR PUMP WITH MECHANICAL SEAL LUBRICATION ARRANGEMENT

Systems and methods are provided for remotely monitoring liquid lubricant levels for pump equipment. A system includes a reservoir to store lubricant and a lubrication gland to expose a shaft seal of the pump equipment to the lubricant. A feed line and a return line circulate the lubricant between the reservoir and the lubrication gland. A level sensor is configured to measure a fluid level in the reservoir. The level sensor uses a communication interface to transmit fluid level data a monitoring device mounted to the pump equipment. The monitoring device is configured to compare the fluid level data against stored alert thresholds and send, to a provider network, an alert signal when the fluid level data is below an alert threshold. If the fluid level data is not below an alert threshold, the monitoring device stores the fluid level data for periodic reporting.

Additively manufactured lubrication channels

An additively manufactured component for a landing gear assembly may comprise a lug and a lubrication channel extending through the lug. The lubrication channel may comprise an inlet and an outlet. The outlet may be located at a pin orifice defined by the lug. A center axis of a first portion of the lubrication channel may be oriented at an angle relative to a center axis of a second portion of the lubrication channel.

SYSTEM FOR LUBRICATING CABLES OR THE LIKE

A lubricating system has a pump to force a viscous lubricant from a supply of lubricant to a lubricator at which the lubricant is to be dispensed onto a cable, wire, or the like that is being pulled through a conduit. A sensor, associated with a spool from which the cable is being dispensed, is be used to automatically control the amount of lubricant that is to be dispensed onto the cable. A second described system comprises a custom bucket or bucket insert which allow a cable to pass through the bucket whereupon lubricant will be automatically applied to the cable and the container includes a profiled base to ensure proper passage of the cable through the lubricant and ensure the maximum usage of any lubricant.
