LUBRICANT SUPPLY DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
20170285555 · 2017-10-05 · ·

A lubricant supply device for supplying lubricant to an image carrier of an image forming device, the lubricant supply device including: a block of solid lubricant; a lubricant supply member scraping lubricant from the block and supplying the lubricant to the image carrier; and a spring applying a biasing force to the block in a second direction inclined with respect to a first direction from the block towards the lubricant supply member, a component of the biasing force in the first direction pushing the block against the lubricant supply member. Positions of the spring and the block relative to each other are such that, as the block decreases due to the scraping by the lubricant supply member, the angle between the biasing force and the first direction decreases and the component of the biasing force in the first direction increases.

A lubricant, a friction pair having the lubricant and a method for controlling COF between the friction pair are provided. The friction pair includes a first friction part (1) and a second friction part (2). Firstly a lubricant (4) is provided between the first and second friction parts (1, 2). Then a potential is applied on the first friction part (1) via the lubricant (4). And COF is controlled by controlling the potential. The lubricant (4) contains propylene carbonate and a surfactant.

The present invention provides a lubrication device for coating a lubricant onto the outer circumferential surface of a bearing. A lubrication device comprises a housing and a lubrication member that is accommodated within the housing. A bearing crosses and passes through the lubrication member so that an outer circumferential surface of the bearing comes into contact with an inner surface of the lubrication member, and due to this configuration, it becomes possible for the lubricant to be coated onto the outer circumferential surface of the bearing.

System and method for reducing friction, torque and drag in artificial lift systems used in oil and gas production wells

A method of lubricating a fluid production pump may include mixing a polarized lubricant with water to produce a diluted lubricant. The method may additionally include creating a flowpath within the fluid production pump. An initial volume of the diluted lubricant may be circulated within the flowpath to allow the diluted lubricant to react with components of the fluid production pump and form a protective barrier on the components of the fluid production pump. The method may further comprise repeatedly introducing a periodic volume of diluted lubricant into the fluid production pump according to a predefined lubrication schedule.
