INTELLIGENTLY CONTROLLED FLUID SYSTEMS
A system and methods according to which a controller communicates control signals to a first frac leg, which includes a wellhead operably associated with a first wellbore, a valve operably coupled to the wellhead, opposite the first wellbore, a frac line operably coupled to the wellhead, and a zipper module operably coupled to the frac line, opposite the wellhead. The first frac leg includes a first sub-controller that receives control signals from the controller. A grease system lubricates the first frac leg and the zipper module. The grease system includes a second sub-controller that receives control signals from the controller. A second frac leg is operably associated with a second wellbore. The second frac leg includes a third sub-controller that receives control signals from the controller. The first, second, and/or third sub-controllers may receive control signals from the controller via a communication bus.
HINGE LUBRICATION DEVICE
A device for lubricating a hinge includes a housing, a first elongated opening, and an absorption element. The first elongated opening allows the housing to be placed over at least a portion of a hinge. The first absorption element entirely disposed within the housing such that the first absorption element is positioned to engage a portion of a hinge when the housing is placed over the portion of the hinge.
LUBRICATING TUBE AND SLIDE RAIL DEVICE HAVING SAME
A lubricating tube includes an inner surrounding surface that has a non-circular cross-section, angularly spaced-apart inner lubricant-storing recesses, and guide surface portions each of which is interconnected between two adjacent ones of the inner lubricant-storing recesses. The inner lubricant-storing recesses and the guide surface portions constitute the inner surrounding surface and cooperatively define a roller passage hole. The inner lubricant-storing recesses are indented from the guide surface portions toward the outer surrounding surface. A slide rail device having the lubricating tube is also disclosed.
Device for measuring the preloading of a screw in a particular joint
A device for measuring the preloading of a screw during a screwing operation including a container body in which a support is inserted, inside which there is a leadscrew into which such screw is screwed by a tightening tool, at the bottom of such support and connected thereto a transducer being arranged, capable of measuring the traction generated on itself as a result of the compression created by the screwing of the screw into the leadscrew.
MODULAR DIGITAL FILTER, REGULATOR AND LUBRICATOR CONNECTOR AND SYSTEM
A modular digital filter, regulator and lubricator (FRL) connector and system are provided. The modular digital filter, regulator and lubricator connector and system are especially suitable for use in improving compressed air quality so as to extend the life of tools and machines which are connected to the FRL devices. The connector device and system allows for a quick and efficient connection with respect to both electronics and air lines and reduces problems that arise from wire pig-tailing or accidental disconnection of the FRL. The device and system may have digital, visual and audible warnings with respect to the quality of air passing through the system and to the tools and machines.
GREASE MANIFOLD SYSTEM
A greasing system may use a programmable logic controller. The programmable logic controller, grease pumps, and power system control grease flow into two or more fracked valves on a well are maintained outside of the red zone of the well. The programmable logic controller includes a display that is adaptable to include information related to individual frak valves such as the associated well, the type of valve greasing utilized such as pressure based greasing or stage based greasing and also may include upper and lower limits on pressure and/or amount of grease utilized.
INTELLIGENTLY CONTROLLED FLUID SYSTEMS
Methods and apparatus according to which a first valve is opened, or kept open, the first valve being part of a wellhead including a flow component above the first valve. The method may further include detecting a state of the first valve and, in response to detecting the state of the first valve, metering an amount of grease to the first valve. In addition, or instead, the method may further include opening, or keeping open, a second valve, the second valve being operably coupled to the wellhead and positioned above the flow component, and, after opening, or keeping open, each of the first and second valves, detecting whether the second valve is open or closed, in response to detecting that the second valve is open, preventing the first valve from being closed, and in response to detecting that the second valve is closed, allowing the first valve to be closed.
LUBRICATION DEVICE, LUBRICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLICATION OF A LUBRICANT TO THE INTERNAL THREADS OF A PIPE BODY
A lubrication device, a lubrication system and a method are for applying a lubricant from a lubricating-fluid reservoir to an internal threaded portion of a pipe body. The lubrication device includes: a rotary device having: first and second coupling parts, and fluid passage for carrying the lubricant from the first coupling part to the second coupling part. The first and the second coupling parts are arranged to rotate relative to each other around an axis that coincides in the main with the longitudinal axis of the pipe body. An applicator body is connected to the second coupling part to allow rotation around the rotational axis of the rotary device. The applicator body has a fluid passage with an outlet for carrying the fluid to the applicator surface as the fluid passage in the applicator body is in fluid communication with a corresponding fluid passage in the rotary device.
