Emergency stop system for mixers
A food preparation apparatus is presented that has fast-stop capability. It includes a base unit, a mixing container attached to the base unit, a mixing tool configured to extend into and move within the mixing container, and a motor within the base unit. The motor is configured to provide a torque to the mixing tool. A control unit within the base unit is connected to the motor. A contact sensor is connected to the control unit, and the control unit is configured to stop rotation of the motor when the contact sensor detects a touch of a human hand. In some cases, contact with the mixing tool stops the motor, and in other cases, contact with an outer surface or user interface of the base unit stops the motor.

DOOR ARRANGEMENT WITH SAFETY LATCH
A door arrangement includes a door, first and second frame parts, a stop and a support both fixed at the first frame part, wherein the support is arranged below the stop in a vertical direction, a safety latch having a first end and an opposite free second end, wherein the safety latch is pivotally attached to the door and includes a hook part arranged at the second end. The second end is introducible between the stop and the support, and the hook part is arranged to interact with the stop. A lower side of the safety latch is arranged to interact with the support, and includes a transition point, arranged between the first and second ends, at which the lower side bends upwards towards the free second end.
INTERLOCKING SYSTEM FOR AN ACCESS-CONTROLLED AREA
A fall-protection interlocking system for an access-controlled fall-risk area. The system includes a latch module installed at an entry gate of the area and a fall-protection apparatus installed at the area. The interlocking system further includes a monitoring system configured to send a positive signal to the latch module when the fall-protection monitoring system determines that a connector of a safety line of the fall-protection apparatus appears to be connected to a safety harness of a user. Upon receipt of the positive signal, the low-power-consumption latch module can unlatch the entry gate.

Outrigger saftey guard
An outrigger guard assembly may include one or more rigid guard sections. Each guard section may include a rigid inner ring located at a proximal end of the guard section and having one or more mounting members extending from the inner ring; a rigid outer ring located at a distal end of the guard section; and one or more rigid radial support members connecting the inner ring and outer ring. The outrigger guard assembly may further include one or more outrigger mating members rigidly attached to an outrigger and adapted to be rotationally mated with the one or more mounting members. The one or more guard sections may form a safety zone around the outrigger.

Weed trimmer heat shield
Armrest heat shield and handheld device systems and methods are shown and described. In one embodiment, the armrest heat shield includes a guard and a clamp. In another embodiment, a handheld device includes an elongated shaft, a gas powered motor, a cutting assembly, and an armrest heat shield aligned sustainably parallel on the shaft above the motor.
TOOL HANDLE LOCK
A handle lock for a handle-operated tool, wherein the handle lock includes a stowed position and a deployed position. When biased into the stowed position, the handle lock is integrated and blended to a body of the tool. The deployed handle lock is stable upon forcible motion of the closed handle, the lock preferably requiring a secondary action to release the handle and stow the lock. Optionally, the handle lock can be stowed by forcibly pressing the handle toward the open or closed position. A spring bias holds the lock in the stowed position.
Bellows with protective plate members
[Subject] To provide a novel bellows with protective plate members, which allows replacement of only damaged slat(s), rather than total replacement of the bellows, when damaged or deformed only in a part of a large number of fixed slats (protective plate members). [Solving Means] The bellows includes a bellows body 2 having ridge parts 2a and valley parts 2b alternately formed therein, and having a bellows supporting plate 5 fixed inside thereof; a fixing plate 3 fixed to the bellows body 2; protective plate members 4 each having a fitting plate part 41 detachably attached to the fixing plate 3, and a protective plate 44; wherein the fixing plate 3 having formed therein one engagement parts 33, 34, the fitting plate part 41 having formed thereon other engagement part 45, 46, thereby making it possible to attach or detach the protective plate member 4 to and from the fixing plate 3.
