A station and method for refilling a tank or tanks with pressurized gas in which liquefied gas is vaporized in a vaporizer. One portion of the vaporized gas is compressed to produce a compressed gas. Another portion of the vaporized gas is not compressed but instead is fed to a heat exchanger where it is used to cool the compressed gas. The thus-warmed gas is reinjected into a filling line that feeds the liquefied gas to the vaporizer.

After the hydrogen storage composition is placed into a canister body, a vacuum environment within the canister body is created, and a first weight of the canister body is recorded. Then, hydrogen gas is charged into the canister body, and a second weight of the canister body is recorded. Then, a hydrogen storage amount is calculated according to the first weight and the second weight. If the hydrogen storage amount reaches the predetermined value, the hydrogen storage container is produced.

The hydrogen storage composition includes a thermally-conductive material, a hydrogen storage material, and optionally a granular elastic material. METHOD FOR PREPARING TO REFUEL A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a method for preparing to refuel a tank in a vehicle with hydrogen, for which purpose the tank pressure is lowered in preparation for driving to a filling station, wherein the filling station is informed of the pending refueling. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the refueling takes place with liquid hydrogen, wherein the maximum achievable pressure level of the tank during refueling, the expected pressure level of the tank when the filling station is reached, and the expected refueling quantity are transmitted to the filling station.

Method and system for tank refueling using dispenser and nozzle readings
A plurality of sensors detect a plurality of fuel temperatures at a filling station, and a controller communicates with the sensors to identify the fuel temperatures, uses the fuel temperatures to determine a plurality of candidate fill times, and compares the candidate fill times to identify a control value for controlling a delivery of fuel. The fuel temperatures include a first fuel temperature corresponding to a first location at the filling station and a second fuel temperature corresponding to a second location at the filling station, and the candidate fill times include a first candidate fill time corresponding to the first fuel temperature and a second candidate fill time corresponding to the second fuel temperature.

The present invention relates to a pneumatically, high pressure gas powered emergency release coupling control and monitoring system (S) comprising a powered emergency released coupling (1) arranged in a fluid-supply line (32) for conveying hazardous fluids, said powered emergency released coupling (1) comprising a couple of coupling members (10, 11) provided with mating faces (10A, 11A) for sealing engagement of the coupling members (10, 11) and formation of a pressurizable chamber (12) between said coupling members (10, 11), said system (S) comprising an actuation line (7) connected at its one end to the pressurizable chamber (12) and at its other end to a source (C) of high pressure gaseous media (GH), preferably high pressure nitrogen gas, an first actuating device (4A, 4B) arranged in the actuation line (7), wherein said system (S) provides a gaseous media at a pilot pressure level to said pressurizable chamber (12) and to said actuation line (7) in a position downstream the first actuation device (4A, 4B) or via said pressurizable chamber (12) for detection of any leakage of gas in the control and monitoring system (S), said pilot pressure gaseous media preferably being 15 low pressure nitrogen gas. The invention further relates to a pneumatically, high pressure gas powered emergency release coupling (1) and a control and monitoring method for such a system (S).
HYDROGEN REFUELING IR INTERFERENCE SHIELD
An apparatus, namely an infrared (IR) interference shield, is described that can be utilized with a vehicle that employs hydrogen fueling, such as a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). For example, the IR interference shield is mounted onto the vehicle's hydrogen fueling receptacle. The IR interference shield is distinctly structured to reduce or prevent interference of IR wireless communication between a vehicle-side IR transmitter on the receptacle, and an IR receiver of the hydrogen fueling station. The IR interference shield can block interference to IR signals that may negatively affect IR wireless communication between the hydrogen fueling station and the vehicle. Thus, the IR interference shield improves reliability of the communication between the vehicle and the hydrogen fueling station, thereby improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the hydrogen refueling process.
