Method of storing and using natural gas in a vehicle
A method of storing and using natural gas (NG) in a vehicle includes selecting a vehicle having an NG tank for fueling an engine of the vehicle. The tank service pressure rating is 3600 psi (pounds per square inch) and an NG adsorbent is in the tank. A first quantity of NG is transferred into the tank from a first source having a first source pressure less than 725 psi. The adsorbent adsorbs a portion of the NG. After transferring the first quantity of NG, the engine is operated until NG is desorbed and consumed by the engine. NG is transferred into the tank from a second source to fill the tank to a second tank pressure of about 3600 psi. The adsorbent adsorbs some of the NG. After transferring the second quantity of the NG, the engine is operated until NG is desorbed and consumed by the engine.
LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FUEL BARGE
A system that includes a marine vessel with a vaporizer skid disposed on the marine vessel. The vaporizer skid is configured to convert a liquid to a gas. The system further includes a first tank disposed on the marine vessel that is configured to store the liquid. The system further includes a plurality of header modules disposed on the marine vessel. The plurality of header modules form a piping network that provide a first flow path from the first tank to the vaporizer skid and a second flow path from the vaporizer skid to a connective interface. The connective interface is configured to provide a flow path from at least one of the plurality of header modules to an end-user system.
Hydrogen energy systems

Also disclosed are systems for charging/recharging magnesium with hydrogen to obtain magnesium hydride. Other relatively safe systems assisting storage, transport and use (as in vehicles) of such solid storage mediums are disclosed.
Synthesis and hydrogen storage properties of novel metal hydrides
The present disclosure relates to improved processes for the preparation of metal hydrides. The present disclosure also relates to metal hydrides, e.g., metal hydrides prepared by the processes described herein, that exhibit enhanced hydrogen storage capacity when used as hydrogen storage systems.
Hydrogen energy systems
Hydrogen energy systems for obtaining hydrogen gas from a solid storage medium using controlled photon and phonon sources. Additionally, structures of solid storage mediums, enhancements to interactions in the medium with photons and phonons, and manufacturing methods of the mediums are disclosed. Also disclosed are systems for charging/recharging magnesium with hydrogen to obtain magnesium hydride. Other relatively safe systems assisting storage, transport and use (as in vehicles) of such solid storage mediums are disclosed.
GAS STORAGE MATERIAL
To provide a gas storage material and gas separation system capable of regulating the storage pressure and release pressure of a gas. A gas storage material which has two cubic lattice-shaped organometallic complexes, wherein the two organometallic complexes form an interpenetrating structure in which one apex portion of a unit cell of one of the organometallic complexes is positioned in a space inside one unit cell of the other organometallic complex.

Hydrogen energy systems for obtaining hydrogen gas from a solid storage medium using controlled lasers. Also disclosed are systems for charging/recharging magnesium with hydrogen to obtain magnesium hydride. Other relatively safe systems assisting storage, transport and use (as in vehicles) of such solid storage mediums are disclosed.
Hydrogen Storage Materials Comprising Naphtalene Group and the Method for Hydrogen Storage and Release Using the Same
Proposed are a naphthalene-based hydrogen storage material including a naphthalene group, the naphthalene-based hydrogen storage material being capable of being used as a hydrogen storage media for supplying hydrogen to a device using hydrogen such as a fuel cell and a hydrogen combustion device, and to a method of storing and releasing hydrogen using the same. The hydrogen storage material can exhibit a significantly high hydrogen capacity, and can have excellent cost competitiveness with the use of a low-cost organic compound which is commercially available in the art.
Gas storage device
The present disclosure provides a gas storage device. In an embodiment, the gas storage device includes a cylinder with opposing ends. An endcap is present at each end. The cylinder and the endcaps form an enclosure. Each endcap includes a connector. A diaphragm is located in the enclosure. The diaphragm includes an annular sidewall. The device includes an inner chamber defined by an inner surface of the sidewall, and a storage space between an interior surface of the cylinder and an outer surface of the sidewall. A metal hydride composition is located in the storage space.
High Brightness Laser-Sustained Plasma Broadband Source
A high brightness laser-sustained broadband light source includes a gas containment structure and a pump laser configured to generate a pump beam including illumination of a wavelength at least proximate to a weak absorption line of a neutral gas contained in the gas containment structure. The broadband light source includes one or more anamorphic illumination optics configured to focus the pump beam into an approximately elliptical beam waist positioned in or proximate to the center of the gas containment structure. The broadband light source includes one or more first collection optics configured to collect broadband radiation emitted by the plasma in a direction substantially aligned with a longer axis of the elliptical beam waist.
