Provided is a renewable energy power generation system (10) having a renewable energy power generating apparatus (12) arranged to generate electric power; and a hydrogen power generation module (20) having a separation unit (22) adapted to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen, and a fuel cell unit (28) adapted to receive air or oxygen, and hydrogen from said separation unit or from a hydrogen storage; the fuel cell unit being arranged to produce electric power in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen; wherein the hydrogen power generation module being adapted to receive electric power from the at least one renewable energy power generating apparatus at least prior to production of electric power by the fuel cell unit.

Replaceable modular device for hydrogen release
A modular device for generating hydrogen gas from a hydrogen liquid carrier may include a housing; an inlet for receiving the hydrogen liquid carrier; and at least one cartridge arranged within the housing. The cartridge may include at least one catalyst configured to cause a release of hydrogen gas when exposed to the hydrogen liquid carrier. The modular device may include a gas outlet for expelling the hydrogen gas released in the modular device and a liquid outlet for expelling spent hydrogen liquid carrier.

The power supply 100 has a first electrical outlet 110 and comprises: optionally a set of hydrogen storage devices 200, including a first hydrogen storage device 200A, a set of heaters 300, including a first heater 300A, a first releasable fluid inlet coupling 410 and/or a first releasable fluid outlet coupling 510; wherein the first hydrogen storage device 200A comprises: a pressure vessel 230A, having a first fluid inlet 210A and a first fluid outlet 220A, comprising therein a thermally conducting network 240A optionally thermally coupled to the first heater 300A, wherein the pressure vessel 230A is arranged to receive therein a hydrogen storage material 250A in thermal contact, at least in part, with the thermally conducting network 240A, wherein the first fluid inlet 210A and/or the first fluid outlet 220A are in fluid communication with the first releasable fluid inlet coupling 410 and/or the first releasable fluid outlet coupling 510, respectively; and preferably, wherein the thermally conducting network 240A has lattice geometry and/or a fractal geometry in two and/or three dimensions.
