Described herein is a light array for luminaires which comprises a plurality of coloured light-emitting diode (LED) elements that are arranged within the array to provide better uniformity of illumination. The light array may be rectangular and include equal numbers of colored LED elements of four colors. The red LED elements are grouped towards the center of the light array with the other colors dispersed throughout the array. Two or more light arrays can be placed adjacent one another to increase the illumination produced whilst maintaining the benefit of better uniformity of illumination.

The present invention discloses a stroboscopic lamp apparatus comprising a main control module and a number of LED modules. The main control module comprises a main CPU and a battery module supplying power to the stroboscopic lamp apparatus. The output terminal of the main CPU connects to two power bus lines. Each of the LED modules consists of a slave module and a number of LED wafers. The slave module comprises a slave CPU. The slave CPU comprises two bus connection pins, a number of address pins, and a number of output pins. The two bus connection pins are connected to the two power bus lines respectively. Different voltages are applied to the the address pins in order to configure different communication addresses. The output pins are connected to the plurality of the LED wafers.

LIGHT UNIT WITH LIGHT OUTPUT PATTERN SYNTHESIZED FROM MULTIPLE LIGHT SOURCES

The present disclosure provides an LED based light unit that produces an output lighting pattern that meets desired lighting characteristics using a reduced number of LED elements. The present disclosure provides a number of point sources that are directed into a desired direction such that, when combined with other point sources, a synthesized light output is provided that minimizes the LED headcount.
