A light guiding structure includes a resilient base and a plurality of light guiding columns. A plurality of through holes is separately formed on the resilient base. The plurality of light guiding columns resiliently engages with the plurality of through holes. Each of a plurality of light emitting components is disposed on an end of each of the plurality of the light guiding columns. The light guiding structure utilizes the plurality of light guiding columns for guiding the light transmitted from the plurality of light emitting components and further utilizes the resilient base for allowing the light transmitted from one of the plurality of light emitting components to pass through the corresponding light guiding column only. Therefore, the light transmitted from the plurality of light emitting components can be guided to a correct position, which effectively reduces human misjudgment.

The present invention further has a tip cone mounted onto the base cone assembly. The tip cone has at least one light slot or clear section to permit light to emit there through. The tip cone and the base cone assembly are apex shaped. Extending from the tip cone is a mast bolt that secures to the base plate. The at least one adjustable diameter lighting source has at least one LED source and regulator. The at least one adjustable diameter lighting source emits radial and/or downward lighting onto the dock pile.

The light emitting portion includes a first cover member (12a) with a first light source carrier (13a) and a first light transmitting portion (14), a second cover member (12b) with a second light source carrier (13b) and a second light transmitting portion (14). The first and second cover member are arranged such that a first light transmitting portion is aligned with the second SSL to allow transmission of light emitted from the second SSL through the first cover member, and a second light transmitting portion is aligned with the first SSL to allow transmission of light emitted from the first SSL through the second cover member. According to this design, light emitted from an SSL on one cover member will be transmitted through the other cover member. Dissipation of heat from each SSL may be provided in the other direction, i.e. in a direction opposite to the light emitting direction of each SSL.

The flange is provided with a linear cam portion diametrically opposed to the pivot, and an opening defined in the flange, such that when the lid is pivoted to proximity with the base and the fastener is tightened, the distal end of the fastener will contact the linear cam pulling the lid into sealed relation with the base. The fastener being tightenable such that its distal end enters the opening in the flange, thereby locking the lid onto the gasket and base to form an IP65 impermeable relationship.
