An interchangeable shadow making flashlight system herein may comprise a flashlight with an extended tube on the light-emitting end having a fastening mechanism to receive interchangeable shadow-producing cover sheets with at least first and second portions (e.g., opaque/transparent/semitransparent portions) configured in specific shapes, such that light passing through the tube is affected differently by the respective portions to create a corresponding shadow/image on a receiving projection surface. The flashlight preferably comprises a single light source, such as a light emitting diode, and no reflector, to ensure a single non-refracting beam of light through the tube, such that the resultant shadow/image is crisply made on the projection surface. Also, the length of the tube may be configured specifically to place the shadow-producing cover sheets at an optimal focal length from the light source in order to further create a crisp outline of the produced shadow. A device including the lighting module, a body having a cavity with an aperture, and a cap having a protrusion facing the body. The lighting module received in the cavity, with the cap covering the aperture. The protrusion and push button switch are positioned such that when the cap is pushed inward near the protrusion, the protrusion pushes the push button switch and activates the lighting module. The cap further includes a ridge surrounding the protrusion on the outward side, the ridge preventing the protrusion from being pushed into the push button switch, unless the cap is pressed at approximately a location of the protrusion.

A stable base supports a handle portion of an emergency light. The stable base has a stand portion and a base portion, which are separated from each other. The stand portion is assembled about the handle portion of the light, and has two pivotable legs extending therefrom. The handle portion itself together with the base portion forms a third leg. The base portion is formed from an upper and a lower portion assembled with a connecting member. A plate is formed on the lower base portion. In a first configuration, the legs are generally transverse to an axis of the emergency light handle, to form a tripod-like support on approximately level ground. In a second configuration, the legs are disposed downwardly so as to be generally parallel to the axis of the handle portion, such that the tips of the legs are disposed downward and are adapted to be inserted into the ground to resist high winds and gusts. In a third configuration, the legs are raised upward such that the tips of the legs are disposed adjacent to the handle portion of the emergency light, and are adapted to be inserted into a container for storage or shipping.

ASSEMBLED VISUAL MACHETE

The present disclosure discloses an assembled visual machete, including a first machete body and a second machete body; the first machete body and the second machete body are integrally assembled through a detachable bridging part; light emitting diode (LED) light strips are arranged on the first machete body and the second machete body; a control board and a battery are arranged in the bridging part; and the battery and the LED light strips are electrically connected to the control board. Therefore, when it is necessary to package and transport the entire assembled visual machete, the first machete body and the second machete body at both ends of the bridging part can be directly removed, and the bridging part, the first machete body and the second machete body in a detached state are placed in a package.

Portable light with curved chip-on-board assembly

The disclosure provides a portable light. The portable light includes a housing having a front surface, a rear surface, and an internal space for receiving electronic components and a battery. The portable light also includes a chip-on-board (COB) assembly. The COB assembly includes a substrate, a matrix of individual light emitting diode (LED) chips mounted to the substrate, and an outer coating covering the matrix of LED chips. The front surface of the housing is curved in one direction and the COB assembly is correspondingly curved and mounted to the front surface, such that individual LED chips are positioned about the curve and orientated to direct light outwardly about the curve to provide a collective beam angle greater than 220 degrees. The portable light further includes a front lens cover to protect the COB assembly.

A cap end covering the USB port and comprising a pair of flexible fingers each comprising a barb-like feature for engaging respective ones of the barb engaging slots comprises an actuating part fabricated from a compressible rubberlike material which is secured towards a second end of each of the flexible fingers. Compressing the actuating part motivates the outer ends of the flexible fingers to move apart, thereby releasing the barb-like features from their respective barb engaging slot and allowing the cap to be removed from the housing.
