APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR HARVESTING ENERGY FOR A LIGHT
An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus has a housing, a lighting component supported by the housing, an energy storage assembly disposed in a first cavity of the housing and electrically connected to the lighting component, a control assembly disposed in the first cavity of the housing and electrically connected to the energy storage assembly, and an energy receiving component electrically connected to the control assembly via at least one lead disposed in at least one second cavity of the housing. The energy receiving component wirelessly receives energy. The energy storage assembly includes a Graphene strip.
Balanced Head Light
The present invention is therefore designed provide a handsfree concentrated light beam that is directed at a targeted location. The light source is integrated with a head harness, which also houses a battery pack that is positioned in a such a way that creates a perfectly balanced device. The positioning of the battery pack ensures that the harness may be worn continuously without the risk of self-displacement on account of unbalanced weight. The battery back may be easily and quickly replaced. As an additional benefit, the head harness may be weather protected with a hat adornment that accommodates controls for the harness. The invention provides for weather proofing the harness by wrapping within a warm fabric wrap.
Light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle
A light assembly attaches to a surface of a vehicle with a power source. The light assembly includes a light head including a light, a light head terminal in electrical communication with the light, and a first mounting structure. The light assembly further includes a first base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The first base includes a second mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure. The first base also includes a conductor configured to couple to the power source of the vehicle and a first base terminal in electrical communication with the conductor. The light assembly further includes a second base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The second base includes a third mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure and a battery and a second base terminal in electrical communication with the battery.

PORTABLE LIGHT TOWER UNIT
Expandable portable light tower units and methods for their use. The portable light tower unit includes a base, an extendable and retractable tower assembly supported on the base, an expandable and collapsible canopy assembly supported by the tower assembly above the base, and a lighting assembly supported on the tower assembly above the canopy assembly. The canopy provides shade beneath the lighting assembly.
ANTIMICROBIAL TREATMENT FOR A SURGICAL HEADLAMP SYSTEM
A surgical headlight system has a headlamp. The surgical headlight system can further include a headwear structure, configured to be worn on a surgeon's head during surgery, supporting the headlamp. The surgical headlight system can further include a video camera configured to record surgery. The headlamp, the headwear structure and the video camera all have an exterior surface. An antimicrobial coating is applied to the exterior surface of the headlamp, the exterior surface of the video camera, and/or the exterior surface of the headwear structure. The antimicrobial coating includes a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. The antimicrobial coating imparts antimicrobial properties onto the exterior surface to which it is applied, such as the exterior surface of the headlamp. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof can be one or more of 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, or 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride.
Light including a heat sink and LEDs coupled to the heat sink
A light includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion defines a battery port. The light also includes a heat sink extending upward from the lower portion. The heat sink includes a body defining a central aperture that extends along a central axis, a plurality of light support surfaces arranged around a perimeter of the body, and a top support member attached to tops of the plurality of light support surfaces. The light further includes a first plurality of LEDs coupled to the plurality of light support surfaces to emit light in a 360 degree pattern, a second plurality of LEDs supported on a surface of the top support member that is perpendicular to the plurality of light support surfaces, and a battery pack received in the battery port to power the first plurality of LEDs and the second plurality of LEDs.
