Lamp safe system
An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing member and an outer casing member, a base member, a lampshade, a lamp body, and a base member. A inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member, and a lamp body member can be placed over and removably attached to an outer casing member. An inner casing member can include two or more walls, and a top surface and a bottom surface. An inner casing member can have attachment points for a lead, screw, a lead screw nut, and guide rails. An inner casing member can have a locking mechanism that can keep the inner casing member inside an outer casing member and lamp body. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have attachment points for an inner casing member to move in and out of through guide rail supports An inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member through a motor rotating a lead screw. An electronic controlling member can have a microcontroller that can be connected to a smart phone and can allow a user to send and receive information from a lamp safe system.
Solar shading panel for north and south sides
A solar shading panel for use in north and south sides of a building is described, where the solar shading panel is effective in preventing against direct sunlight partially or throughout the year without angle adjusting equipment, while allowing building occupants to perceive external views at all times. The solar shading panel includes a frame and an opaque panel with spacing perforates attached to hollow cylinders. An upper portion of the hollow cylinders can be configured to protect against direct light and a lower portion of the hollow cylinders can be configured to receive and reflect natural light into the building.
DAYLIGHTING BLIND, DAYLIGHTING DEVICE, AND LIGHTING SYSTEM
A daylighting blind according to an aspect of the invention includes: a plurality of slats; and a support mechanism that interconnects the plurality of slats, a longitudinal direction of which is oriented in a horizontal direction, and supports the plurality of slats suspended in a vertical direction. At a boundary between a daylighting slat group composed of a plurality of daylighting slats in an upper position in the vertical direction and a light-shielding slat group composed of a plurality of light-shielding slats in a lower position in the vertical direction, the daylighting slats and the light-shielding slats are arranged consecutively. The support mechanism includes a lifting/lowering member that causes the daylighting slat group to be stored or extend independently.
IMITATION CANDLE DEVICES WITH MOVING LIGHTS
Imitation candle devices and systems with features enable simulation of a realistic candle flame using moving lights are disclosed. In one aspect, an imitation candle device is provided that includes a flame sheet shaped to resemble a flame, a support member positioned in proximity to the flame sheet, and a light casing including a hole. An end of the support member extends into the hole and a tip of the end of the support member is in contact with an inner wall of the hole to allow movement of the light casing on the support member. The imitation candle device also includes a light emitter enclosed at least partially in the light casing and movable with movement of the light casing. The light emitter is oriented at an inclined angle with respect to the flame sheet to emit light onto the flame sheet.

DAYLIGHTING SYSTEM, DAYLIGHTING METHOD, AND BUILDING
A daylighting system (1) according to one aspect of the invention includes a daylighting apparatus (2) and an artificial light source apparatus (3) that emits light toward the daylighting apparatus (2). The daylighting apparatus (2) includes a base material (4) having light transmission property, and a plurality of daylighting portions (5) that are provided on a first surface of the base material (4), have light transmission properties and reflect light incident from a light incident end surface on a reflection surface. The artificial light source apparatus (3) emits at least light that enters the daylighting portions (5) from the light incident end surface and travels toward the reflection surface.
Photo-voltaic powered wireless sensor for passive optical lighting
A daylighting device includes a photo-voltaic (PV) device that is mounted in or proximate to the daylighting device that provides sunlight to a service area. The PV device generates a power signal from incident sunlight. The power signal provides operational power to circuitry associated with the daylighting device, such as a transmitter that transmits a value representing the intensity of light on or near the daylighting device. This signal, which is generated either from the power signal or from a signal provided by a photosensor mounted in or proximate to the daylighting device, may be used by a control system to adjust light levels provided by artificial light sources to supplement the sunlight provided by the daylighting device to approach the desired light level in the service area.
