Vehicular lamp furnished with: a first light source emitting blue laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 450 nm to 470 nm; a second light source emitting green laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 510 nm to 550 nm; a third light source emitting red laser light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 630 nm to 650 nm; a phosphor that by being excited by a portion of the blue laser light emitted by the first light source or of the green laser light emitted by the second light source emits excitation light having a peak wavelength in a wavelength region of 580 nm to 600 nm; and a light condensing unit for collecting the blue, green, and red laser light, and the excitation light, to generate white light.

An emblem for a vehicle comprises: (a) a light source configured to emit visible light; (b) a cover assembly disposed over the light source, the cover assembly having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a transparent portion that is transparent to the visible light, the visible light being incident to the inner surface, and the visible light that the light source emits transmitting through the transparent portion out of the outer surface to an external environment beyond the emblem; and (c) one or more surface relief patterns disposed on the cover assembly, the one or more surface relief patterns configured to manipulate (i) the visible light that the light source emits, (ii) visible light from the external environment, or (iii) both (i) and (ii).

The light engine includes a first set of lenses with a first type of optical surface for focusing a first portion of the plurality of LED modules and a second set of lenses with a second type of optical surface, different than the first type, for focusing a second portion of the plurality of LED modules.

Illuminated exterior strip

A lighting system for a vehicle panel is provided herein. The lighting system includes an outer panel mated to an inner panel. An aperture is disposed in the outer panel. A light-producing assembly is arranged as a strip and includes a plurality of light sources. A photoluminescent structure is configured to luminesce in response to excitation by the plurality of light sources. A retention feature is coupled to the light-producing assembly and insertable through the aperture for disposing the light-producing assembly on the outer panel.

Scattering film for OLED

A process for the manufacture of a scattering polymer film can include (a) making available a film made of organic polymer, (b) applying, to one of the faces of the said film, a liquid composition (c) heating and/or irradiating the layer of liquid composition to form a cured scattering layer. A scattering polymer film can be obtained by this process. A substrate for OLED can include such a film adhesively bonded to a transparent substrate.
