The softbox comprises a body portion, a set of flexible and foldable frames, means for switching the softbox between an unfolded state and a collapsed state, and means for fitting the softbox over light sources of different sizes. The body portion of the softbox comprises a front panel, a back panel and a strip of material that circumferentially attached to the front panel to the back panel. The flexible and foldable frames are attached along the circumferences of the front and back panels. The softbox can be folded to fit in a circular container, for example, a bag.

Lamp

A lamp includes a base, a light emitting module mounted to the base, a lens member and a decorating unit. The lens member has a light input surface, a light output surface disposed in front of and spaced apart from the light input surface along an axis, and a through hole extending through the light input surface and the light output surface. Light emitted from the light emitting module enters the lens member through the light input surface and exits the lens member through the light output surface. The decorating unit is detachable and is optically disposed for decorating the lamp or for changing at least one of a wavelength, an output angle, a light field and so forth of the light passing through the lens member.

A light emitting diode (LED) module is in thermal communication with front and back heat sinks for dissipation of heat therefrom. The LED module is physically held in place with at least the back heat sink. A mounting ring and locking ring can also be used to hold the LED module in place and in thermal communication with the back heat sink. Key pins and key holes are used to prevent using a high power LED module with a back heat sink having insufficient heat dissipation capabilities required for the high power LED module. The key pins and key holes allow lower heat generating (power) LED modules to be used with higher heat dissipating heat sinks, but higher heat generating (power) LED modules cannot be used with lower heat dissipating heat sinks.

A chassis for holding an optical sheet includes an engaging part for engaging the optical sheet. The engaging part includes a base provided to stand on a surface of a holding plate for the optical sheet orthogonally to the holding plate and in the thickness direction of the holding plate, and an engaging portion extending substantially parallel to a holding surface from the front edge of the base toward the outside of the frame of the chassis. A distance between the holding surface of the holding plate for the optical sheet and the surface of the engaging piece facing the holding surface is substantially equal to the thickness of the optical sheet. The cross-section of the base of a central engaging part is formed into a shape substantially identical to the shape of an engagement hole provided in the optical sheet.
