A method of operating a portable light including placing a base housing on a support surface, such that a plurality of legs are spaced away from the support surface and collapsed against an elongate body, grasping a portion of the portable light adjacent a light head with a first hand of a user and lifting the base housing away from the support surface, grasping the handle with a second hand of the user, depressing an actuator on the handle with the second hand, which removes a locking member from a locking recess of the elongate body to enable movement of the collar relative to the elongate body in a direction along a longitudinal axis, and sliding the collar along the elongate body away from the light head to move the plurality of legs to be obliquely angled relative to the elongate body.
Beacon light device
It is herein proposed a novel beacon light device with a circuit board and an enclosure which at least partially encloses the circuit board. The circuit board features a leading board section and a neck board section which is narrower than the leading board section. The enclosure features a wide opening section which has a width equal to or greater than that of the leading board section for permitting passage of the leading board section through the opening. The enclosure also features a narrow opening section which has a width that is smaller than that of the leading board section for preventing passage of the leading board section through the opening.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of decorative lamps, and provides an articulated device and a foldable star lamp including the same. The articulated device includes an articulated joint and an articulated base, wherein the articulated joint includes an articulated joint bottom and an articulated joint top, the articulated joint bottom is sleeved on the articulated base and is capable of pivoting around a fixed axle, the articulated base is provided with a first stop block for preventing excessive rotation of the articulated joint.
AMBIANCE LIGHTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention relates to an ambiance lighting system that uses more than one translucent panel. The translucent panels are aligned, absent occlusions along the surface, and interconnected or inserted into a luminary wrap. A light control panel comprises one or more light-emitting diodes (LED), a power source, and selectively a GPS, audio-video interface, and a communication interface. The light control panel is orientated to illuminate and project light through the translucent panel creating an ambiance lighting effect. A box spinner, box panels, post adapter, colored lens, accessory sleeves, ornamental accessories, and/or a retractable tether can be used with the ambiance lighting system. The GPS, audio-video interface, and communication interface can be used in geofencing and digital media streaming applications.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus includes a top cover, a light source and a bottom cover. The top cover has a top surface, a slope surface and an inner wall. The slope surface and an inner wall form a cavity below the top surface. The inner wall has a light opening. The light source emits a light with a first direction via the light opening of the top cover. The light is guided by the slope surface to move with a second direction to escape from the top surface of the top cover. The light source includes a LED module and a driver for generating a driving current supplied to the LED module to emit the light. The bottom cover is plugged to fix to the top cover.

A lamp-housing assembly, for a detector of a sample separation apparatus for separating a fluidic sample, includes a lamp seat, a lamp insertable into the lamp seat, and a lamp cap mountable on the lamp seat and on the inserted lamp. The lamp seat, lamp and lamp cap are matched with respect to each other so that, by inserting the lamp into the lamp seat and by mounting the lamp cap on the lamp seat and on the inserted lamp, the lamp is axially and radially aligned and electrically and thermally coupled with the lamp seat and the lamp cap.
