Receiver speed ring and associated method(s)
11686455 · 2023-06-27 ·

A receiver speed ring configured to facilitate a safe way of mounting an associated light modifier to both a Balcar-type light source and a Bowens-type light source via a tube with outwardly protruding tabs as well as holes and slots that are punched into the tube, instead of the flared flange, which allows for a quick change between different light mounting systems (e.g., Balcar-type, Bowens-type) without obscuring or impeding a flash tube. The receiver speed ring includes a cylindrical hollow tube having a constant diameter and provided with a circumferential outer surface having a centrally registered longitudinal axis. The speed ring also includes a non-flared outer edge, a plurality of juxtaposed holes, a plurality of juxtaposed slots, and a plurality of juxtaposed outwardly protruding tabs are provided.

LIGHT EMITTING DIODE (LED) LIGHT BULB PACKAGING

A method includes obtaining a container sized to fit multiple high voltage light emitting diode (LED) lightbulbs, adding multiple loose high voltage LED lightbulbs to the container to fill the container, and sealing the container, such that the container contains a higher density of high voltage LED light bulbs than a same sized container can hold protective packaged equivalent watt incandescent bulbs.

LIGHTING DEVICE FOR AN AIRPORT RUNWAY
20230192315 · 2023-06-22 ·

A lighting device for an airport runway with a base carrier, at which at least one lighting unit is fastened, with the lighting unit comprising a light source, a reflector, and a covering glass panel, with the light source and the reflector being combined to a joint lighting module, with the light source and the reflector being assembled on a joint carrier of the lighting module connected to the base carrier in a detachable fashion.

Lighting arrangement, in particular for escape route lighting

In a lighting arrangement, in particular for escape route lighting, comprising a light source and an optical element assigned to the light source, said optical element being designed to emit asymmetrically the light emitted by the associated light source, the optical element can be positioned in different ways.

Lamp for Vehicle and Lamp Assembly for Vehicle Comprising Same

The present invention provides a lamp for a vehicle including a housing in which an open surface is formed, a first substrate on which a light source is mounted and which is disposed in the housing such that the light source faces the open surface, a second substrate electrically connected to the first substrate and perpendicularly coupled to the first substrate, a terminal part coupled to an end portion of the second substrate to be in contact with a terminal of a socket connected to an external power source, and a lens coupled to the housing to cover the open surface, and thus may provide an advantageous effect in that areas of a heat sink and the substrate are minimized while electrical connectivity is secured.

Lamp

The present invention concerns a lamp (1) having a number of plates (3, 4, 5). The plates (3, 4, 5) are moveable between a position where the plates (3, 4, 5) form a common outer surface and a position where the plates (3, 4, 5) are separated from each other. By means of the plates the shape and appearance of the lamp (1) may be amended between having the form of for instance a closed sphere and a more or less open form. The plates (3, 4, 5) are placed on upper and lower curved arms (17, 26). The curved arms (17, 26) are connected to an upper ring (10) and a lower ring (9). The curved arms (17, 26) are moved by movement of the lower ring (9) towards and away from the upper ring (10).

Decorative candle sleeve and interlocking connectors for sheets

A decorative sleeve for receiving or placing around a light source such as a traditional or flameless candle. The sleeve includes a flexible sheet of translucent or transparent material having a surface image thereon and having opposing first and second edges and a locking system. The locking system is configured to smoothly connect the first and second edges to form the sheet into a sleeve configuration. The locking system may be disconnected by a user to allow for flat storage of the sheet, and then may be reconnected by the user at a later time when the sleeve is used again.

Light head with rotating lens assembly and method of operating same

A light head for a medical device support system. The light head includes a housing base, an annular shape first lens, a housing cover, and a motion transfer member. The housing cover includes a cavity within which the annular shape first lens is rotatable about a rotation axis. The housing cover includes a second lens. The annular shape first lens and the second lens are in a light emitting path of the plurality of light emitting elements. The motion transfer member is configured to movably interact with a boss of the annular shape first lens to rotate the annular shape first lens about the rotation axis and within the cavity. A periphery of the annular shape first lens includes guide members configured to position the boss of the annular shape first lens to movably interact with the motion transfer member.

STAND LIGHT

A portable light includes an elongate body, a plurality of extension poles slidably received in the body and movable out of the body between an extended position and a retracted position, a light head pivotably coupled to one of the extension poles, and a head assembly housing fixed to the body and having an opening to receive the light head when the extension poles are in the retracted position. The portable light also includes a collar positioned around a portion of the body and movable between a first position and a second position, a handle coupled to the collar for movement with the collar, and a plurality of legs pivotably coupled to the collar. The legs are collapsed against the body when the handle and the collar are in the first position and are expanded apart from the body when the handle and the collar are in the second position.

HOLDER FOR MULTIPLE INTERCHANGEABLE LIGHT ACCESSORIES
20170343192 · 2017-11-30 ·

The specification and drawings present a new light accessory holder, comprising only one part, for placing and interchanging multiple optical accessories in a lighting fixture near/in front of a light sources such as LEDs. The holder can use multiple notched springs (e.g., three) to push accessories forward and holds them in a desired position. The may be removed from the lighting fixture, so the user can load into the holder whatever accessories are needed, and then return the re-loaded holder into the light fixture. Accessories may include but are not limited to diffusers, glass components (optical filers), Hexcel Louvers, snoots, or other objects that are intended to alter the color or shape of a light source.
