A LED grid device comprising a LED grid and a plate-shaped member at which the LED grid has been arranged. The LED grid has several electrically conducting wires arranged side by side, and several LED modules, each LED module having a LED package, wherein each LED package is coupled to at least two wires of the electrically conducting wires. Each LED module further has a thermally conducting element positioned between two adjacent wires of the wires that the LED package is coupled to. The thermally conducting element carries the LED package, and protrudes from the LED package, and the thermally conducting element is attached to the plate-shaped member.

A lighting device includes a flexible housing, at least two light emitting elements, and at least one mounting member. The flexible housing extends along a length direction of the lighting device and has an inner surface configured to reflect light. The at least two light emitting elements are arranged along the length direction of the lighting device and are mounted to the flexible housing. The at least one mounting member is an integral component of the flexible housing and extends continuously along the length direction of the lighting device. The at least one mounting member includes a base section and a sequence of mounting sections. At least two of the mounting sections are separated from each other by a recess. The sequence of mounting sections extends from the base section of the at least one mounting member.

According to embodiments, there is provided a frame comprising a plurality of bodies spaced apart from one another in one direction and connected to one another by a supporter. The plurality of bodies comprises a light emission window formed at an upper part of a body, a light incidence window formed at a bottom part of the body, and a mounting portion formed between the light emission window and the light incidence window, and including a groove that is formed on an inner wall of the body and is recessed horizontally into the body from the light incidence window.

The solid-state light emitting devices within the clusters may be configured for emitting light in different colors such as blue, red, and green.

LED lamp apparatus and method of making an LED lamp apparatus

A device for illuminating a space comprising is discussed. In one variation, the device includes: a central body portion, with a length and a width, and including two plates running along the length of the central body portion wherein the two plates are separated by a spacer; an opening for the removal of heat during operation of the device that extends along a portion of the length of the central body portion, a light emitting diode on the central body portion; a reflector, extending from the central body portion, for reflecting light emitted by the light emitting diode towards the illuminated space.
