LED lamp for replacing a fluorescent tube lamp
A disconnector for an electric circuit having a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact for connecting or disconnecting an electric circuit connected to the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact. Each of the contacts have a first end with a base contact and a second end with a contact point for electrically connecting the first electrical contact to the second electrical contact. The disconnector has a isolating support for supporting the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact such that the first electrical contact is in touch with the second electrical contact at the contact points in a mechanically pre-loaded condition to connect the electric circuit electrically. The first electrical contact and the second electrical contact can be separated by a separator plate.
ELONGATED STRUCTURE
The invention provides an elongated structure comprising a pole having a wall around a hollow core as a tubular body part extending along a length axis. A base section of the wall of the tubular body part is connected to an H-shaped frame extending from a foot of the pole along the length axis, said H-shaped frame being arranged in the core. The wall at the location of the H-shaped frame is provided with a door, said door in closed position being flush with the wall and in opened position providing access to the core.
Automatic candle snuffer
An automatic candle snuffing device comprises a lid hingedly secured to a support arm which in turn is removably secured about the circumference of a candle container. The lid is removably attached to the support arm, opposite a hinge, by a retention mechanism. Upon reaching a selected pre-set time as inputted to the timing device, the timing device activates the retention mechanism to release the lid in order to at least partially cover the candle opening and extinguishing a flame of the candle.
Solid-State Lighting With A Reduced Temporal Light Artifact
An LED luminaire comprising LED arrays, a full-wave rectifier coupled to AC mains, a power switching converter, and an LED driving circuit coupled to the power switching converter is used to replace a conventional luminaire with a severe temporal light artifact. The power switching converter is configured to convert a first DC voltage from the full-wave rectifier into a second DC voltage with a low-frequency ripple associated with the AC mains. By adapting switching frequencies to compensate the low-frequency ripple of the second DC voltage, the LED driving circuit can regulate the second DC voltage into a third DC voltage with a ripple-reduced LED driving current to drive the LED arrays with a flicker-reduced light emission to protect users of the LED luminaire from possible health hazards such as seizures, headaches, eyestrain, reduced visual performance, migraines, etc.
