LIGHT ENGINE ASSEMBLY FOR AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR
A method for forming a light engine assembly includes the steps of injecting a light trough material into a mold, thereby forming a light trough including a trough body having an edge, and injecting a seal material into the mold, thereby forming a seal configured to bond with the edge of the trough body. The method further includes cooling one of the light trough material and the seal material to adhere the light trough material to the seal material, thereby forming a unitary light trough part, ejecting the light trough part, and coupling a lighting unit with the light trough part.
Modular outdoor light fixture and accessories
Provided is a modular light fixture. The device includes a light shroud, a light fixture base having a first cylindrical housing, a second cylindrical housing, a quick disconnect with a pair of external pins, and a light fixture base supporting attachment that includes a pair of P-shaped channels. The shroud attaches to the first cylindrical housing, and the base attachment attaches to the base via the P-shaped channels and the first and second external pins. The shroud and base attachments can be interchanged as desired for use as a hanging light, an up light, a down light, a well light, a path light, a wash light, or any combination thereof. The device allows for quick and easy conversion of lights from one style to another without requiring an entirely new fixture, enables simple repairs, and lessens the number of items required to be stocked by an installer.
Storage unit with light-emitting components
A device or unit with a lighting component is provided. The device includes coupling components that couple the device to stackable storage unit containers. In one embodiment, the device includes a battery interface to couple to a battery for power tools. In one embodiment, the device includes three lights that are pivotally coupled to the housing between a retracted position in which the lights are disposed against sidewalls of the housing, and an open position in which the lights are pivoted above the top panel of the housing.
OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL DEVICE, CONTROLLER AND MOUNTING METHOD
A controller (100) for mounting onto a socket (20) of an outdoor device (10) is disclosed. The controller comprises an inner body (110) comprising a first bottom surface from which an annular arrangement of electrical connection pins (102) for engaging with said socket extends, said inner body further housing control circuitry (132) for said outdoor device, said control circuitry being electrically connected to at least some of said electrical connection pins; and an outer body (120) rotationally mounted around the inner body, the outer body comprising a further bottom surface (122) around the first bottom surface and an outer cover (105) extending from said further bottom plate covering the control circuitry, the further bottom surface carrying an annular compressible gasket (104) for providing a weatherproof seal between the further bottom surface and the socket by rotational displacement of the outer body relative to the inner body. Also disclosed is an outdoor electrical device (10) comprising such a controller (100) and method of mounting such a controller (100) onto an outdoor electrical device (100).
ELECTRONIC MODULE GROUP
An electronic module can include a first housing defining a housing cavity, the first housing defining a first end and a second end positioned opposite from the first end, the first end defined by a shaft of the first housing, the shaft defining external threading, the first housing defining a housing opening to the housing cavity at the second end; an LED lamp board positioned within the housing cavity, the LED lamp board configured to emit light through the housing opening; a power supply driving module positioned within the housing cavity at least partially between the LED lamp board and the shaft; and a first concentric terminal connected in electrical communication with the power supply driving module, the first concentric terminal extending at least partially through the shaft, the first concentric terminal configured to rotatably connect in electrical communication with a second concentric terminal.
GOLF CUP LIGHTING FIXTURE
This disclosure provides a golf cup lighting fixture. The system includes a cup, a light source, a catch removeably coupled to the cup. The system also includes a cover located below the catch which covers the light source. The light source is accessible when the catch and cover are removed. The cup can be placed in a hole and then the light source illuminates the hole. A golfer can see the illuminated hole. Replacing the light source, or performing maintenance, is enhanced as the cup need not be removed to conduct such maintenance.
PREVENTING LIQUID INGRESS IN A DEVICE
In an embodiment, a method of manufacturing (100) is described. The method comprises providing (102) a first layer defining a first inner surface (203a) and a first outer surface (203b), a second layer defining a second inner surface (205a) and a second outer surface (205b), and an electrical component (206) positioned on the first inner surface or the second inner surface. The method further comprises attaching (104) the first and second layers together to create a device (200) comprising the first and second layers, wherein the first outer surface and the second outer surface define an external surface of the device. The device further comprises a sealed portion (208) defined by liquid-tight attachment between the first and second inner surfaces. In use of the device, the sealed portion prevents liquid ingress into the device between the first and second layers towards the electrical component.
System and Method for Controlling the Humidity and Pressure in a Luminaire
A luminaire is provided, having first and second enclosures, a pipe, and a chamber. The first enclosure includes luminaire components that emit a light beam, has two openings, and is otherwise sealed. The second enclosure includes electronic circuits coupled to the luminaire components, has an opening, and is otherwise sealed. The first enclosure rotates relative to the second enclosure. The pipe couples an opening of the first enclosure to an opening of the second enclosure, rotates relative to the first enclosure, and is otherwise sealed. The chamber includes a drying agent, two openings, and is otherwise sealed from the external air. One opening of the chamber is rotatably coupled to an opening of the first enclosure. The other opening of the chamber is completely covered by a membrane that allows air to pass through the material while reducing the passage of water droplets in the air.
Lamp module group
A lamp module group can include a housing defining a first housing end and a second housing end, the housing defining a first protruding column at the first housing end, the housing defining a cavity with a housing opening to the cavity defined at the second housing end and a column opening to the cavity defined by the first protruding column; an LED lamp board positioned within the cavity, the LED lamp board configured to emit light through the housing opening; a power supply driving module positioned within the cavity between the LED lamp board and the first protruding column, the power supply driving module connected in electrical communication with the LED lamp board; and a concentric terminal extending through the column opening, the concentric terminal connected in electrical communication with the power supply driving module.
Underwater light assembly and method
An underwater directional light is provided. The directional light includes a lamp assembly, a tube assembly, and a printed circuit board assembly. The lamp assembly includes a housing and a lamp having a plurality of lighting elements. The tube assembly is coupled to the lamp and has a hollow interior. The printed circuit board assembly is mechanically coupled to the tube assembly and electrically coupled to the lamp.
