Light beam projection device provided with submatrices of light sources, lighting and headlight module provided with such a device
An optical light beam projection device, notably for a motor vehicle, includes upstream in the direction of propagation of the light rays, a set of at least two associated submatrices each provided with primary light sources capable of emitting light rays. Downstream, a primary optical system is provided with a plurality of convergent optics, at least one convergent optic being associated with each submatrix and arranged downstream thereof, the separation between the optical axes of two adjacent convergent optics corresponds respectively to the separation between the centers of the corresponding adjacent submatrices. Another subject of the invention is an optical module comprising the device and a motor vehicle headlight.
LIGHT MODULE AND LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A LIGHT MODULE
A light module includes at least one light source, a light source support, and an optical element suitable for receiving rays emitted by the light source. The optical element includes structure for positioning the optical element in a predefined position on the support and an elastic attachment device for attaching the optical element in the predefined position on the support.
Marker lamp system
A marker lamp system includes a sensor configured to detect information around a vehicle, a projector configured to project an image onto a road surface around the vehicle, a controller configured to control the projector based on a detecting result of the sensor, and a marker lamp having a light emitting area surrounding the sensor and the projector.
Collimator, especially for the light device of a vehicle, and an optical module comprising the collimator
The collimator comprises an output area approximately having the shape of an n-gon with legs and apices, for collimation of light rays emitted by a light source. In viewing the collimator from the side from the optical source in the direction of the lighting axis, the collimator comprises n first parts and n second parts. Each first part is associated with one of the legs of the n-gon and comprises the first sector of the first circular collimator, approximately inscribed in the n-gon so that this leg is tangential to the outline of the circular output area of the first circular collimator. Each second part is associated with one of the apices and is comprised in a second sector of the second circular collimator, approximately circumscribed around the n-gon so that the outline of the output area of this second circular collimator passes through the apex.
Auxiliary light
A lighting assembly that provides integrated forward projecting light and side lighting to give a user a broader field of light. The assembly also incorporates daytime running lights to increase visibility during the day and night. The lighting assembly includes a cooling system suitable for dissipating the heat generated by light sources and electrical components of the assembly.
Accessory Fin System for Watersports involving Boards
A fin for a water sports board capable of receiving one or more insert accessories is provided. The insert accessories may operate to add a functionality to the fin, and to any board the fin is attached to. Typically, the fin disclosed may be used with a surfboard, paddleboard, or similar water sports board.
LIGHT GUARD FOR A VEHICLE LIGHT
A light guard for a vehicle light having an outer perimeter and including: a frame portion and a mesh portion, the frame portion comprising a flat rigid frame sized and shaped to fit the outer perimeter of a particular vehicle light; the mesh portion comprising a rigid mesh sized sufficiently small to prevent penetration of stones and road debris, but sufficiently large to allow passage of light from the vehicle light; the mesh portion being attached around its perimeter to the frame portion; the frame portion having at least one fastener to secure the light guard to the vehicle light; whereby, the mesh portion of the light guard covers the particular light protecting it from damage from stones and road debris.
Curved light guide for propagating light rays
A light guide intended to propagate light rays emitted from at least one light source, the light guide including at least three successive portions in a direction of propagation of the light rays from the one or more light sources, the three successive portions being a first portion, a second portion located immediately after the first portion, the second portion following a curve defined by a main radius of curvature, and a third portion located immediately after the second portion. According to the invention, at least one slit is produced in the second portion, the one or more slits defining at least two sub-guides, the sub-guides joining so as to form the third portion of the light guide.
Light Up Fin
An electronically powered, light emitting fin used with a surfboard or paddleboard, or similar water sports board. The fin is configured to be attached to the water sports board to provide illumination under the board when using the device. The lighted fin may be particularly useful when using the water sports board at night to illuminate water beneath the board.
