Automotive lamp optical system with light diffusive projection lens
The present invention relates to an automotive optical system; the optical system includes one or more first optical elements that reflect light rays emitted from a number of first light sources that are configured to perform a first lighting function and a second optical element; the second optical element is configured to project a light beam from the first optical elements configured to perform the first lighting function where a portion of the second optical element is made of a diffusive material. Furthermore, the optical system includes a number of secondary light sources where the second optical element is configured to receive light ray emissions from the secondary light sources and perform a second lighting function by scattering light rays received from secondary light sources.
Frunk lighting system with variable lighting position and vehicle having the same
A frunk lighting system applied to a vehicle is mounted on a hood provided with an emblem on a front of the vehicle to cover or open a space of a frunk, and has an illuminating direction of light emitted by a light source changed into lighting for the emblem and lighting for the frunk by movement of a rotating mechanism connected to a motor whose rotating direction is changed by a closing signal and an opening signal of the hood, thereby easily implementing an appearance design suitable for a future motorized vehicle with a light-emitting effect for the front emblem of the vehicle, and particularly, automatically switches the lighting, which has illuminated the emblem in a state where the hood is closed, toward the frunk to illuminate a frunk space, thereby maximizing visibility and usability of the frunk.
LED light hood scoop for a jeep wrangler
The present invention provides a method of installing a hood scoop to a designated recessed area of a hood of a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon vehicle comprising: providing the hood scoop having a protective member and a hood attachment member having a first cable access feature wherein: edge profile of the hood attachment member matches edge profile of the designated recessed area; the designated recessed area includes a hood aperture that provides access to the vehicle's electrical power and control systems; attaching the attachment member to the designated recessed area using conventional attachment means; and attaching a light fixture to the hood scoop wherein the light fixture's cables pass through the first cable access feature and the hood aperture for communication with the vehicle's electrical power and control systems. The present invention also provides the hood scoop described herein.
Articulated vehicle speaker system
An articulated vehicle speaker system includes a vehicle mount adapted to be mounted on a vehicle and a speaker assembly including front and back injection molded panels which, when joined together, define a speaker compartment at first and second ends of the panels to house a speaker unit and a central compartment which separates the speaker compartments. A pair of spaced, powered hinge assemblies are disposed within the central compartment and hingedly connect the speaker assembly to the vehicle mount to allow limited swinging movement of the speaker assembly between different positions on the vehicle. Each hinge assembly includes a bidirectional, electrically-powered actuator and transmission subassembly. Each subassembly including a rotary output shaft and a set of interconnected transmission elements coupled to the output shaft and to the speaker assembly to automatically swing the speaker assembly based on a command signal.
LIGHTING MODULE WITH STYLING MASK
The invention relates to an optical guide made from transparent or translucent material extending along a main direction and including a rounded, tubular guide portion formed with a rounded, tubular dioptric interface, the tubular guide portion being suitable for guiding light along the main direction through successive reflections off the dioptric interface with a rib adjacent to the guide portion that is suitable for allowing light to exit the tubular guide portion. The rib exhibits a variable shape along the main direction so as to modify the amount of light that exits along the main direction. The invention also relates to a lighting module that includes the optical guide and a lighting device that includes the lighting module.
Visible light manipulating emblem for a vehicle
An emblem for a vehicle comprises: (a) a light source configured to emit visible light; (b) a cover assembly disposed over the light source, the cover assembly having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a transparent portion that is transparent to the visible light, the visible light being incident to the inner surface, and the visible light that the light source emits transmitting through the transparent portion out of the outer surface to an external environment beyond the emblem; and (c) one or more surface relief patterns disposed on the cover assembly, the one or more surface relief patterns configured to manipulate (i) the visible light that the light source emits, (ii) visible light from the external environment, or (iii) both (i) and (ii).
VEHICLE EXTERIOR PART
A vehicle exterior part is configured to be arranged frontward of a millimeter wave radar device with respect to the transmission direction of millimeter waves. The vehicle exterior part includes an ornamental body, a light source that emits light, and a light diffuse reflection member. The light diffuse reflection member is millimeter wave-transmissive and diffuses and reflects light. The ornamental body includes a base and an ornamental layer. The base is millimeter wave-transmissive and diffuses and transmits the light. The ornamental layer is millimeter wave-transmissive and arranged frontward of the base with respect to the transmission direction. The light source, the ornamental body, and the light diffuse reflection member are arranged so that the light emitted from the light source is diffused and reflected by the light diffuse reflection member and directed toward the base.
Illuminated removable 3D accents for license plates and frontal and lateral attachments
The present invention provides a system of attachments and interchangeable emblems that can be illuminated and that can be placed in different location around a license plate or novelty plate to a vehicle, chosen by the user. Multiple attachments may be placed around the license plate, each suitable for receiving and tightly holding any regular or illuminated protuberance extending from an emblem, so that the emblem may be secured to the attachment. The emblem or attachment may also be removed and repositioned in a new position selected by the user. These options also allow choices based on aesthetic preference, situational fit requirements for the vehicle, and visibility requirements for government issued tags or plate features.
Vehicle lamp assembly
A lamp assembly is provided herein. The lamp assembly includes a panel operably coupled with one or more projectors. A light source is disposed within each of the one or more projectors. An optical member is disposed between each of the light sources and the panel. An image interference is disposed between the optical member and an exterior surface of the panel.
