AIRCRAFT AIR DUCT SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING ELECTRICAL POWER AND VISIBLE LIGHT
An air duct system comprising an air duct having a main body, a visible light source, an emitter configured to emit radio frequency waves, and one or more antennas. The main body of the air duct defines a passageway having a reflective inner surface. The visible light source is configured to generate visible light. The visible light source directs the visible light along the reflective inner surface of the air duct. The emitter directs the radio frequency waves along the reflective inner surface of the air duct. The one or more antennas are each connected to a corresponding power harvesting circuit, where the radio frequency waves are received by the one or more antennas and are converted into electrical power by the corresponding power harvesting circuit.
Lighting module and lighting device comprising same
A lighting module disclosed in the embodiment of the invention includes a substrate; a plurality of light emitting devices disposed on the substrate; a resin layer disposed on the substrate and the light emitting device; a phosphor layer disposed on the resin layer; and a recess portion overlapping the light emitting device in a vertical direction, wherein an upper surface area of the recess portion includes a range of 50% to 150% of an upper surface area of the light emitting device, and the recess portion is formed to be concave toward the upper surface of the resin layer from the light emitting device and may include an inclined side surface lower than the upper surface of the resin layer.
Lighting apparatus of autonomous vehicle having a mounted lamp box with lamp units and sensing units
A lighting apparatus of an autonomous vehicle including a lamp box disposed in a roof part of a vehicle; one or more front lamp units housed in a front portion of the lamp box and configured to distribute light to a forward area of the vehicle; one or more rear lamp units housed in a rear portion of the lamp box and configured to distribute light to a rearward area of the vehicle; one or more interior lamp units disposed at the bottom of the lamp box, and configured to distribute light to an indoor area of the vehicle; and a control unit configured to control operations of the front lamp unit, the rear lamp unit and the interior lamp unit.
LIGHTING UNITS PRODUCING VISIBLE LIGHT WITH BLENDED DISINFECTING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
A lighting unit may include a first light-emitting diode (“LED”), a second LED, and a third LED. The first LED may be configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation having a first wavelength of between about 600 nanometers (“nm”) and about 740 nm, the second LED may be configured to emit second electromagnetic radiation having a second wavelength of between about 500 nm and about 565 nm, and the third LED may be configured to emit third electromagnetic radiation having a third wavelength between about 315 nm and about 430 nm. Thus, the third electromagnetic radiation may be disinfecting UV-A radiation that is incorporated into a lighting unit that produces visible light.
VEHICULAR REAR WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED LIGHTING
A vehicular rear window assembly includes a window panel having an inner glass panel and an outer glass panel laminated together. A lighting device includes a plurality of light sources arranged on a circuit element. The vehicular rear window assembly is configured to be disposed at a rear portion of a cabin of a vehicle. The lighting device is disposed between the inner glass panel and the outer glass panel. The light sources, when electrically powered, emit light that is visible through the outer glass panel of the window panel so as to be viewable by a person viewing the vehicular rear window assembly from exterior and rearward of the vehicle. At least some of the light sources of the lighting device are electrically powered responsive to actuation of a brake of the vehicle to provide a center high mounting stop lamp feature that is integrated within the window panel.
INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH REMOVABLE PORTABLE ACCESSORY MODULE
An interior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror head, a mirror mounting structure configured to adjustably mount the mirror head at an interior portion of the vehicle, and a receiving portion for receiving a portable accessory module. A retaining element is configured to attach at the mirror casing at the receiving portion to releasably secure the portable accessory module at the receiving portion. With the retaining element at least partially detached from the mirror casing, the portable accessory module is insertable into and removable from the receiving portion. With the portable accessory module inserted into and received at the receiving portion and with the retaining element attached at the mirror casing, the retaining element overlaps a lower portion of the portable accessory module to secure the portable accessory module at the receiving portion.
Vehicle dome light
A vehicle roof lighting unit for illuminating an interior compartment of the vehicle. The unit includes one or more direct light emitting elements, wherein each of the direct light emitting elements are configured to illuminate a portion of the interior compartment, and wherein the one or more direct light emitting elements are located on the exterior of the vehicle roof lighting unit. The unit also includes one or more indirect light emitting elements for providing general lighting for the entire interior compartment, wherein the one or more indirect light emitting elements are concealed from view and the light from the one or more indirect light emitting elements reflects off a curved reflective structure. The unit further includes a control panel, wherein the control panel is located on the exterior of the vehicle roof lighting unit.
