FLAME SIMULATING ASSEMBLY FOR SIMULATED FIREPLACES INCLUDING A REFLECTING LIGHT SYSTEM
A flame simulating assembly is provided with a reflected flickering light that includes only one light source. Light from the light source passes through a rotating flicker element onto one or more reflectors, or mirrors, that reflect light up onto a simulated fuel bed and the some of the light is reflected off of the flicker elements towards a flame screen to create a simulated flame. The dipping flicker elements creates a fluttering light effect due to the flicker elements “intermittently dipping” into the light path. This fluctuating light is reflected onto the logs and ember bed in front and creates a dancing effect, which simulates glowing embers.
Lighting element, a lighting system and a luminaire providing a skylight appearance
A lighting element 100, a lighting system and a luminaire are provided. The lighting element 100 is used for obtaining a skylight appearance and has a white light emitting means 104 for emitting white light, a blue light emitting means 106 for emitting blue light and a Fresnel lens 102. The Fresnel lens 102 is arranged to receive light from the white light emitting means 104 and from the blue light emitting means 106. The white light emitting means 104 is arranged in a first relative position with respect to the Fresnel lens 102 to collimate at least a part of the light emitted by the white light emitting means 104 to obtain a collimated directed light beam in a specific direction. The blue light emitting means 106 is arranged in a second relative position with respect to the Fresnel lens 102 to obtain a blue light emission at least outside the collimated directed light beam.
Waterproof, dual-polarity decorative light string
Disclosed is a waterproof LED light string that provides outdoor lighting in a simple and reliable manner. Waterproof bulb assemblies are used with replaceable LED light sources. The bulb assemblies are easily suspended from a rope or wire, screwed to a support, or magnetically supported from a ferrous metal support. Duplicate circuitry in the LED light source allows the LED light source to be connected in either direction.
Underwater Light Display Device and System
A light display system and device for use in a body of water or other liquid is described. The light display device may be controlled remotely via a control hub and/or control panel, or controlled by internally preprogrammed commands. A plurality of light display devices may be controlled in selected, choreographed sequences to provide various unique visual displays including, for example, geometrical patterns and/or naturalistic patterns giving the impression of organic phenomena such as swarming fireflies, bioluminescent creatures and the like.
Mechanical bypass light unit
A light unit includes a bulb having a light source with lead wires and a separator, a switch member that includes a support member and a pair of spring terminals, and a socket having two or more conductive terminals and adapted to receive the bulb and the switch member. The switch member is adapted to cause the pair of spring terminals to contact one another to form an electrical short circuit across the pair of conductive terminals and the light source when the bulb is completely or partially removed from the socket. The lead wires form an electrical connection across the conductive terminals and the separator breaks contact between the pair of spring terminals when the bulb is seated in the socket.
Light device has built-in digital data system for record image, sound
A Light device having built-in digital data means is powered by an unlimited power source for a lamp-holder, LED bulb, or light device connected to unlimited power source by prongs or a base that or conductive wires can be inserted into a socket that would otherwise receiving a bulb. The device may take the form of a webcam having auto tracking added one of plurality functions to make different products and functions and retractable prongs that plug directly into a wall outlet or insert into existing lamp base or incorporate conductive wire to make electric connection at least one of built-in camera, storage unit, wireless kits, Bluetooth kits, motion sensor, light device.
Backlit illuminated device with lighting through decorative plated surfaces
An ornamental device including a decorative plated surface and a backlit assembly is described, and includes a light engine including a light-emitting diode (LED), a light pipe optically coupled to the LED, a light diffuser and a lens assembly. The lens assembly includes a chrome surface finish, wherein the lens assembly encases the light engine, the light pipe and the light diffuser, and is assembled onto a back plate. When the LED is not illuminated, the lens assembly exhibits a chrome appearance, and when the LED is illuminated, light emanates through the lens assembly.
Frame assembly
An ornamental frame assembly for enhancing the ornamental appearance of a flat screen display includes a frame that has a plurality of intersecting members such that the frame has a rectangular shape to conform to a flat screen display. Each of the intersecting members comprises a first portion that is oriented at an angle with a second portion to accommodate an outer edge of the flat screen display. A lens is attached to the frame such that the lens extends around a full perimeter of the frame. A plurality of light emitters is each positioned in the frame. Each of the light emitters is positioned behind the lens to emit light through the lens.
Light-emitting diode (LED) light sets
Apparatuses and systems are provided for changing the spectrum of light emission from a light-emitting diode (LED) light set. The LED light set may include LEDs, each of which having at least a first LED chip and a second LED chip configured to emit light at differing wavelengths. The first and second LED chips may be connected in series with opposite polarities. Responsive to receiving a power flow in a first direction from a power terminal, the first LED chip may emit light of a first color while the second LED chip may remain powered off. Responsive to receiving the power flow in a second direction opposite the first direction from the power source, the second LED chip may emit light of a second color different than the first color while the first LED chip may remain powered off.
ELECTRIC LIGHTING DEVICES
Various embodiments of electric lighting devices and, in particular, electric candles are described. The devices can include a flame element onto which light can be projected from a light source. Preferably, the light is projected within a focal area on the flame element. The housing of the devices can include projections that help maintain a vertical position of a circuit board within the housing.
