Organic lighting device and lighting equipment
A glazing comprising a luminous means with a substrate having a first main surface, to which a first electrode is applied, a second electrode, and an organic layer stack within an active region of the substrate between the first and the second electrode, wherein the organic layer stack comprises at least one organic layer which is suitable for generating light, wherein the luminous means is arranged between two glass plates of the glazing of a window. Also, storage furniture is disclosed comprising a storage element shaped in planar fashion and having at least one storage surface and at least one radiation-emitting component, and at least one holding apparatus for holding the storage element.
OPTICAL MODULE HAVING MULTIPLE LASER DIODE DEVICES AND A SUPPORT MEMBER
A method and device for emitting electromagnetic radiation at high power using nonpolar or semipolar gallium containing substrates such as GaN, AlN, InN, InGaN, AlGaN, and AlInGaN, is provided. In various embodiments, the laser device includes plural laser emitters emitting green or blue laser light, integrated a substrate.
Smart lighting by outdoor wall-mounted or ceiling mounted light fixtures and/or connected light bulbs
An apparatus comprising a communication circuit and a processing circuit. The communication circuit may be configured to connect to a network based on a communications protocol. The processing circuit may be configured to control a light based on a pre-defined condition. The processing circuit may determine a location of the apparatus based on an identifier. The processing circuit may synchronize to a universal clock via the network. The processing circuit may determine a local time based on (a) the universal clock and (b) the location, both received from a device connected to the apparatus through the network. The processing circuit may receive input from the device. The processing circuit may calculate the pre-defined condition based on (a) the local time and (b) the input from the device. The processing circuit may determine whether the pre-defined condition has been met.
Lighting System Having Improved Unidirectional Intensity
A strip of a flexible plastic has a transparent cover surface which permits passage of light and an opposed bottom surface and sides which are opaque to passage of light. A series of spaced apart light emitting diodes are positioned on the top surface in electrical contact with a pair of spaced apart, generally parallel electrical wires running along the length of the top surface and individual electric bulbs are positioned on top of each light emitting diode. When electric current flows through the electrical wires, light is transmitted from each light emitting diode through each bulb and out in a unidirectional manner.
Replacement LED Light Module
The present invention relates to a replacement LED light module with a plurality of LED lights on a PCB board is attached to a heat sink, providing good heat dissipation and provide an easy installation mechanism using magnetic supports that can be quickly put in place to difficult locations, such as ceiling, where there is suitable magnetic flat surface for the magnetic attraction to take effect. The power wires, along with the wire nuts, provide a sort of “back up” tensile support in the event where the magnetic connection may lose its pulling power.
Vehicle light assembly having a colored appearance in an unlit state
A vehicle light assembly is provided that exhibits a colored appearance when in an unlit state. The vehicle light assembly comprises: a housing; one or more light sources mounted in the housing; and a light guide configured to receive light from the one or more light sources and project the light outwardly from the light guide. The light guide includes a first segment proximate to the one or more light sources and a second segment distal from the one or more light source, such that the light from the one or more light sources passes through the first segment of the light guide before passing through the second segment of the light guide. Of note, the first segment is comprised of a colorless material; whereas, at least a portion of the second segment is comprised of a colored material.
LED lamp
An LED lamp that can take the place of incandescent lamps. An elevated light source is positioned above a screw-type base. A first plurality of LEDs is connected in a series on one side of a flat substrate and a second plurality of LEDs, equal in number to the first, is connected in series on an opposite side of the substrate. Each LED of the first and second plurality of LEDs is mounted proximate a heat sink and a drive circuit is provided for the LEDs, with the drive circuit being located proximate and electrically connected to the screw base.
LIGHTING DEVICE MADE UP OF LIGHTING ELEMENTS AND STRIPLIGHT MADE UP OF A PLURALITY OF SUCH LIGHTING DEVICES
Said lighting device is made up of lighting elements (L1, L2, . . . , L20) arranged on a mounting board (PS1, PS2, etc.). The one or more boards are arranged so as to supply light with a predetermined coverage.
The boards comprise a plugging system (C1, C2, C3, P1, P2, P3) for connecting said lighting elements. The mounting of such a device using a threaded rod 7 makes it possible to obtain easy maintenance of the device of the invention. This device can easily be used to form striplights.
Use: Lighting of car parks, meeting rooms.
Tailored Freeform Optical Surface
An optic has a freeform optical surface transforming incident light emitted by a spatially extended light source into a constellation of images of the spatially extended light source. The images in the constellation are mixed to form a target illumination pattern having a sharp-edge at least along a portion of a boundary. The images include a focused image, and an edge of the focused image participates in forming the sharp-edged boundary the target illumination pattern.
SNAP-IN ASSEMBLING OF LED BOARDS IN LUMINAIRES
The specification and drawings present a new lighting/housing fixture comprising a plate/housing plate having multiple snapping clips for holding/assembling LED boards/modules in luminaires/LED light fixtures. The assembly can be made without any fasteners (such as rivets, screws, embossed fasteners, etc.), adhesives or any additional materials. This may be achieved by forming a housing plate comprising a plurality of snapping clips, made from one plate using, e.g., a sheet metal. The snapping clips are able to hold the LED boards in place, using snapped claws, as tight as conventional methods (e.g., using fasteners, rivets, etc.). In addition, the described housing fixture can simplify the assembling procedure, and reduce cost, manpower and maintenance compared to the conventional methods.
