The present disclosure discloses an apparatus for suspending decorative lights. The apparatus comprises an elongated tube structure that can be coupled to a window, door or other fixtures in a building with one or more removable pivoting connector mounts. The elongated tube structure comprises individual lights or a net of lights. The lights are coupled to the elongated tube structure via openings provided in the elongated tube structure. The elongated tube structure comprises a wire within the structure to draw power for lighting the lights.

A modular vapor-tight light fixture is provided herein which generally includes first and second vapor-tight light modules, and a coupling for connecting the first and second vapor-tight light modules. Each of the vapor-tight light modules includes: a channel housing; a lens secured to the channel housing; a plurality of solid state light generating elements; and, first and second end caps. Each of the channel housings includes first and second rails which each define a mounting channel. The coupling includes mounting strip portions configured such that, with the first and second vapor-tight light modules being adjacent, the mounting strip portions are simultaneously received in the mounting channels of both the first and second vapor-tight light modules. Advantageously, with the subject invention, fully enclosed vapor-tight light modules may be provided at shorter lengths which are connected by the coupling to provide a fixture comparable in length to prior-art vapor-tight light fixtures.

A lighting tube for uniform illumination is disclosed. The lighting tube includes a conduit having an inner layer, outer layer, and a middle layer between the inner and outer layers. The middle layer has at least two of a phosphor film, a diffusion film, and a UV-blocking film. The lighting tube also includes a light emitting chain located inside of the conduit. The light emitting chain includes control wires and a plurality of light emitting units spaced along the control wires. Each unit has a plurality of faces interconnected to form a polygon when viewed along a central axis, with each face being on a different side of the polygon. Each face has an LED coupled to the control wires. The LED emits light with a wavelength that causes the phosphor film to luminesce. The illumination of the middle layer by the chain is substantially uniform in all radial directions.

The ejector pin is operationally moved to a blocking position for preventing the power supply mounting part from being matched with the power supply module and a release position for releasing the power supply mounting part to be matched with the power supply module. The operating member is operationally moved on the main body to an on position and an off position.

Power cabling extends to the light sources, and may be adapted to provide pass-through power to other, similar assemblies to form a modular system. The assemblies may be easily deployed and repacked for storage and movement. The system is suitable for large area lighting, particularly with panels used for theater, television, and film sets, or with displays, trade show installations, and so forth.
