Overhead cable management system with integrated lighting
A cable management system may comprise a longitudinal trough with a plurality of lights disposed on an underside of the trough. A power connector may be disposed at an end of the trough communicatively coupled to the plurality of lights. The cable management system may also comprise a second trough or one of a plurality of cable management components, each with a plurality of lights disposed on an underside and a power connector communicatively coupled to the pluralities of lights. The first trough, the second trough, and/or the plurality of cable management components may mate together to form a continuous circuit.
Single-emitter lighting device that outputs a minimum amount of power to produce integrated radiance values sufficient for deactivating pathogens
Methods and lighting systems to deactivating deactivate MRSA bacteria in a volumetric space over a period of time. At least one lighting element of each of one or more lighting fixtures provide light. The light includes a first disinfecting light having a wavelength of about 405 nm and a minimum integrated irradiance of 0.01 mW/cm.sup.2, and a second component having a wavelength of greater than 420 nm. The one or more lighting elements of the one or more lighting fixtures apply a determined total radiometric power to produce a desired power density measured at any exposed surface within the volumetric space during the period of time. The minimum power density includes a minimum integrated irradiance of the disinfecting light equal to 0.01 mW/cm.sup.2.
Antimicrobial light source array system
Systems and methods for controlling a light emitting diode (LED) system associated with an area and having a plurality of LED arrays are provided. In some implementations, the lighting system can include a first LED array associated with visible light and a second LED array associated with UV light. The lighting system can include one or more first sensors configured to detect occupancy within the area and send signals indicating whether the area is occupied. The lighting system can include one or more second sensors configured to detect microbes within an area and send signals indicating whether microbes are present in the area. The lighting system can include a control circuit configured to receive the signals sent by the one or more first and second sensors and to control the first LED array and the second LED array based on the signals.
Modular Lighting System
A modular lighting system may include a support structure, a plurality of heat sink modules physically supported by the support structure, and one or more light source modules coupled to the plurality of heat sink modules. The plurality of heat sink modules may be arranged in a modular manner such that the number of heat sink modules in the modular lighting system is variable, and each heat sink module may be an integral molded structure defining at least one opening or passageway.
CEILING TILE WITH BUILT-IN AIR FLOW MECHANISM
Disclosed embodiments relate to a combination axial fan and LED lighting system configured to fit into the footprint of a standard ceiling tile. Disclosed embodiments further include ceiling tiles with a built-in fan and/or LED lighting. The disclosed systems may include a housing container and an axial fan. The fan has a fan cavity including air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting and fan components. The inventions include an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture. Moreover, disclosed embodiments include one or more UV light sources which irradiate contaminants as air flows through the ceiling tile.
Luminaire
A luminaire, in particular as a table, camping, work, party or garden luminaire, comprising at least one mounting, one supply voltage terminal, and one fastening element for at least one LED light. The LED luminaire is comprised of at least one LED panel that is movably articlulated at the fastening element. The object is to provide an LED panel that can be made available in a small-dimensional flat design and that can prevent an overheating of the individual LEDs.
Troffer light fixture retrofit systems and methods
An adapter bracket for retrofitting an existing troffer light fixture includes one of a channel, a base portion, and a frame member, each configured to rest on a T-bar of a ceiling system. The channel is configured to receive and retain a portion of a troffer housing for the existing troffer light fixture. The base portion is configured to support the troffer housing along a full length of the troffer housing. The frame member defines an aperture configured to receive a portion of a troffer door assembly. The aperture includes a slot and a notch, where the notch is defined adjacent to the slot and is narrower than the slot. Each of the base portion, the channel, and the frame member includes a mounting surface configured to engage with a retainer of the troffer door assembly.
Luminaire with multiple light emissive surfaces
A luminaire comprising a housing having a first main face opposite a second main face at a distance W. The first main face comprises a light exit window transmissive for light source light, is bordered by at least one sidewall connecting the first and second main face, and has a length L. The sidewall comprises essentially over its full length L a light emission window which is transmissive for light source light and which has a height H, with H in between 0.1*W to 0.8*W.
Simulated candle tip
The invention relates to the field of illumination technology and provides a simulated candle tip, which comprises a light source arranged in the flame base such that a light emitted by the light source can be projected through the reflecting chamber of the flame cover, to simulate real flames. By controlling the power on/off of the electromagnetic coil and the direction of current, attracting and repelling forces can be generated between the electromagnetic coil and the magnet, to enable the flame holder to perform regular swing motion in forward, backward, left and right directions. In this way, both the light source disposed at the upper end of the flame holder and the flame cover can perform swing motion along with the flame holder, to simulate flickering effect of real burning flames. In such case, a stable swing motion can be realized, and it is easy to control.
CEILING ELEMENT
A ceiling element including a base adapted to be mounted in a ceiling of a room, thereby defining a room space under the base and a ceiling space above the base, is provided. The ceiling element includes a battery container adapted to receive a battery and arranged at the base such that it is located in the ceiling space when the ceiling element is mounted in the ceiling. The ceiling element further includes a conduit arranged to convey air between the room space and the ceiling space and/or the battery space when a temperature of the room space is different from a temperature of the ceiling space and/or a temperature of the battery container. A method of thermal management of a battery received in a battery container located in a ceiling space is also provided.
