The LED components are arranged in multiple color groups, each color group having multiple LED components, and each LED component positioned a distance no greater than 1.0 mm from an adjacent LED component.

SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE PRESENCE OF AN OBJECT TO BE PROTECTED IN A LOW-LIGHT ENVIRONMENT

A system for detecting patterns on objects having reflective or high visibility colored material thereon. The system includes a lighting unit that includes a main housing having a front opening and a cavity, a first visual lighting assembly positioned within the cavity of the main housing that emits light in the visible spectrum, and a second ultraviolet lighting assembly positioned a fixed distance from the first visual lighting assembly within the cavity of the main housing that emits light in the ultraviolet spectrum, a camera having a field of view within which the system is configured to detect patterns of reflective or high visibility colored material on one or more objects, a warning device to alert the operator when a marked object enters the camera's field of view. A controller/processor is programmed to detect when a pattern of reflective or high visibility colored material enters the camera's field of view. A variety of patterns can be used, and the controller can be programmed to associated each pattern with a specific object.

Method and Apparatus for Controlling Lighting Modules of a Multi-Element Portable Light

A lighting device having a first configuration wherein a first light source is exposed and a second light source is covered and a second configuration wherein the first light source is exposed and the second light source is exposed. The light device is enclosed in a rigid enclosure securing the lighting device in the second configuration. A power source is electrically coupled to the lighting device to provide power to the first light source and the second light source. A switch is coupled to the power source and the first and second light sources. The switch is configured to permit propagation of power from the power source to the second light source when the lighting device is in the second configuration.

Lighting device with variable light distribution

A lighting device comprises at least two groups of light-emitting diodes and an electronic circuit for controlling said light-emitting diodes. The electronic circuit is configured to control each group of light-emitting diodes separately. The beam characteristic of at least one of the groups of light-emitting diodes differs from the beam characteristic of at least one of the other groups of light-emitting diodes. As a result, the light distribution of the lighting device can be switched electronically.

Lighting fixture

Lighting fixtures are provided. In one example implementation, the lighting fixture can include a housing portion and one or more modular lighting components mechanically coupled to the housing portion. Each modular lighting component can include a lighting assembly (e.g., an LED lighting assembly) and a heat sink portion. The one or more modular lighting components can be selectively removable from the housing portion to configure the lighting fixture for a plurality of different lighting configurations.

Digitally adjustable focused beam lighting system

A lighting assembly includes a lighting tower. The lighting tower includes a plurality of layers of lighting elements, where each layer of lighting elements is configured to provide a different angle of emitted light onto a parabolic reflector with respect to light emitted from another layer of lighting elements onto the parabolic reflector when activated.

Traffic lighting system based on weather visibility change
20200191371 · 2020-06-18 ·

The invention discloses a traffic lighting system based on the change of weather visibility, which includes a lampshade, wherein the lampshade is provided with a guide slide cavity, and the guide slide cavity is provided with a monitoring system, which can monitor the weather visibility in real time. A cabinet is rotatably connected to the lower end of the lampshade, and a lighting system is provided in the cabinet. The lighting system is provided with lighting lamps symmetrically. The present invention can switch between LED and high-pressure sodium lamp by monitoring weather visibility. In high-visibility weather, only LED lights are used for lighting, which can reduce energy consumption. When there is low visibility weather such as rain and fog, switching to high-pressure sodium lighting can improve lighting penetrability and ensure the required lighting intensity.
