There is provided a lighting device (100) comprising a first tubular body (120), a second tubular body (130) within the first tubular body (120), and a support structure within the first tubular body (120). The support structure supports a plurality of Solid State Lighting (SSL) elements (160) on a support surface, said SSL elements being arranged to emit light under a range of angles including a first range. The support structure is fixed within the first tubular body (120) by the first tubular body (120) and the second tubular body (130). The support structure comprises a tube receiving member (156) extending from the support surface, said tube receiving member engaging with the second tubular body (130).
Candle flame simulation using a projection system
Electric candles are described having a candle-shaped housing, a flame element extending from the housing and one or more projectors disposed within the candle-shaped housing such that a media file can be projected on to a first surface of the flame element using the pico projector. The flame element could be fixed or move with respect to the housing. The flame element could be transient and only exist when the candle is on.
LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT, CONSTRUCTION KIT FOR A LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT, AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A LIGHTING ARRANGMENT
A lighting arrangement comprises a channel having an interior and a light exit region, and at least one light providing device. The light providing device is designed for arrangement thereof within the interior for the directional emission of light during operation through the light exit region toward the outside. Furthermore, the lighting arrangement comprises at least one busbar designed for the supply of the light providing device in the interior of the channel, wherein the light providing device is electrically coupleable to the busbar. The light providing device, for the holding thereof, is coupleable to the channel and is freely positionable at least within a region of the interior. A construction kit for such a lighting arrangement and a method for constructing such a lighting arrangement are furthermore disclosed.

A light emitting apparatus is disclosed. The light emitting apparatus includes: a base substrate; a plurality of circuits disposed on an upper side of the base substrate; a light emitting source included in at least one circuit among the plurality of circuits; a first pad and a second pad disposed on a lower side of the base substrate and contacting one electrode or another electrode of each of the plurality of circuits; and an electrodeless pad array disposed on the lower side of the base substrate. The number of electrodeless pads included in the electrodeless pad array is determined based on a number of the plurality of circuits.
LED LIGHTING STRIP WITH BENT WIRES
An LED lighting strip, method of manufacturing an LED lighting strip and an automotive lighting system are described. The LED lighting strip (100) includes at least two outer wires (12, 14), at least one central wire (15) between the two outer wires, LEDs (22) arranged along the LED lighting strip and electrically coupled at least to the at least two outer wires (12, 14), and an enclosing member (52) enclosing the at least two outer wires, the at one central wire and the LEDs. The at least two outer wires (12, 14) and the least one central wire (15) have a bend (51) in sections between at least some adjacent LEDs (22).

Combination irradiation chamber and LED light source
Disclosed embodiments relate to a combination axial fan and LED lighting system configured to fit into the footprint of a standard ceiling tile. Disclosed embodiments further include ceiling tiles with a built-in fan and/or LED lighting. The disclosed systems may include a housing container and an axial fan. The fan has a fan cavity including air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting and fan components. The inventions include an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture. Moreover, disclosed embodiments include one or more UV light sources which irradiate contaminants as air flows through the ceiling tile.
