Light emitting module and illumination device using the same
A light emitting module includes light source units having a rectangular plate shape, and a base unit having an elongated rectangular plate shape. The light source units are disposed along a straight line and removably mounted to the base unit. Each of the light source units includes a pair of engaging portions used in bringing each of the light source units into engagement with the base unit. The engaging portions are disposed in two opposite sides of a mounting surface of each of the light source units to be mounted to the base unit. The base unit includes holding portions provided along a longitudinal direction of the base unit on an attachment surface of the base unit to which the light source units are attached and holding-portion-attachment portions to which the holding portions are detachably attached at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of the base unit.
LAMP
A light guide element and a lamp are provided. The light guide element includes a light-incident surface, a light-emitting surface, an outer surface and an inner surface. The light-incident surface has a first outer peripheral edge and a first inner peripheral edge. The light-emitting surface is opposite to the light-incident surface and has a second outer peripheral edge and a second inner peripheral edge. The outer surface connects the first outer peripheral edge and the second outer peripheral edge. The inner surface connects the first inner peripheral edge and the second inner peripheral edge. A first opening defined by the inner surface adjacent to the first inner peripheral edge is larger than a second opening defined by the inner surface adjacent to the second inner peripheral edge.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A modular lighting assembly uses LED banks as the light sources. The assembly allows the power supply and LED banks to be independently replaced. The assembly uses a power supply that is separated from the LED banks and electrically connected to the LED banks with a plug connector that may be unplugged and plugged back in to allow the power supply or LED bank to be independently and readily replaced. The assembly provides for easy replacement of the different components of the assembly. One feature that makes the components easier to replace is that the light modules and/or the power supply may be carried by the housing that is removable from the base mount that is secured to a mounting structure such as a wall or ceiling.
LED ILLUMINATION DEVICE WITH SINGLE PRESSURE CAVITY
A light fixture includes a sealed path between a group of LED modules and a sensor cavity. The light fixture performs self-diagnosis and implements corrective measures upon detection of one or more environmental condition changes in the sealed path. In response to detecting an environmental condition change, the light fixture will automatically implement a corrective measure.
LIGHT EMITTING DIODE (LED) MODULE FOR LED LUMINAIRE
A light emitting diode (LED) module for a light fixture includes a substrate with an upper surface and a lower surface. Various pressure multiplying pads are integrally connected to the lower surface, and each pressure multiplying pad extends away from the lower surface. LEDs are attached to the upper surface, along with a set of conductive lines so that each conductive line electrically connects a corresponding LED to a power inputs. Each of the pressure multiplying pads may be positioned opposite a corresponding LED. A flexible lens cover may cover the upper surface and the LEDs, while leaving the lower surface and pressure multiplying pads exposed so that the pads can contact a heat sink of the light fixture.
Optical modifications for changing power density of solar simulator systems
An apparatus and methods for retrofitting known solar simulator systems to allow the exit beam to be changed in size and location without changing the other fundamental functions of the main optical elements. The solar simulator system is provided with means for de-magnifying the exit beam to provide higher power densities at the illumination plane. By adding or replacing one final optical element, the system user can change the location of the illumination plane and the size of the illumination area. This change in size can increase or decrease the power density of the exit beam.

LED STREETLAMP
An LED streetlamp is provided that includes: a frame; a main PCB installed in the frame, extending in a longitudinal direction of the frame, and provided with a connector at a first side surface thereof; and a plurality of LED bars, each being coupled to the frame at an end thereof and emitting light by being powered by the main PCB, the LED bars symmetrically arranged with respect to the frame and arranged at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction of the frame.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
There is provided a lighting assembly comprising: a frame; a power supply connector coupled to the frame at and along a first inner side of the frame, wherein the power supply connector is configured to receive a power from an external power supply; a support coupled to the frame at and along a second inner side of the frame, wherein the first side is opposite to the second side; and a lighting module disposed between and coupled to the power supply connector and the support, wherein the lighting module is configured to receive the power from the power supply connector, and the lighting module has a lighting element embedded therein, wherein the lighting module is physically supported by the support.
Light fixture with tool-less interchangeable lenses
A light fixture includes a housing with a channel configured to contain a driver for driving one or more light emitting diodes located outside the channel. The housing includes slots configured to receive and secure a lens. The light fixture further includes a removable channel cover, tabs located along the length of the channel and adjacent to the channel on the housing, and a lens bar having a first flange configured to secure the lens and a second flange configured to be inserted underneath the tabs. The lens bar is secured in place with the second flange underneath the tabs by the channel cover which prevents the lens bar from moving laterally with respect to the tabs. The slots, the first flange, and a flange running the length of the light fixture perpendicular to the slots are configured to cover the edges of the lens when installed.
