The first locking device is arranged on the second rail and configured to lock the blocking part of the first rail when the second rail is moved to a first predetermined position relative to the first rail. The second locking device is arranged on the second rail and configured to lock the blocking part of the first rail when the second rail is moved to a second predetermined position relative to the first rail.

Guiding body and motion-guiding device provided with same

A guide body can be prevented from being disengaged from a track rail even where the track rail is made of a low-rigidity material, thereby securing reliable movement along the track rail. The guide body includes: a large number of rolling elements that roll on a rolling surface formed along a structure, the guide body being movable relative to the structure; an endless circulation path through which the large number of rolling elements circulate; a load opening portion for allowing the large number of rolling elements in the endless circulation path to be held in contact with the rolling surface of the structure; and a guide portion formed on at least one side of the load opening portion so as to project toward the structure side with respect to projecting ends of the large number of rolling elements projecting from the load opening portion toward the structure side.

Disclosed is an adjustable face plate mounting system for adjusting the position of a face plate attached to a pantry pullout apparatus. The system comprises a slotted bracket adjustably attached to the face plate, a standoff assembly attached to the pantry pullout apparatus and slidably engaged with the slotted bracket, a fastener fixedly attached to the pantry pullout apparatus, and a set crew movable within the fastener and abutting the slotted bracket. A first embodiment of the standoff assembly includes a pair of standoffs and coordinating removable fasteners. Another embodiment of the standoff assembly includes a single standoff and fastener paired with a pin. The face plate is adjustable in three dimensions with respect to the pantry pullout apparatus and surrounding cabinets.

Clutch for furniture parts

A clutch includes a first transmission member, a second transmission member, at least one abutting member, a control base and an engaging member. The second transmission member is movably connected to the first transmission member. The at least one abutting member is movably mounted between the first transmission member and the second transmission member. The control base provides a limited space. The engaging member is movably mounted in the limited space. Wherein, the engaging member is not engaged with the second transmission member when the control base is in a first state relative to the second transmission member. Wherein, the engaging member is engaged with the second transmission member when the control base is in a second state relative to the second transmission member.

Method and apparatus for reliable detection of opening and closing events

A methods is provided for reliable and accurate detection of opening or closing of doors or drawers using output signals generated by a sensor, the output signals directly or indirectly representative of the acceleration of the sensor over time. Areas under a curve for acceleration, or representations thereof, are determined and occurrence of movement events identified through comparison of calculated areas with certain thresholds. Areas are considered which span between zero crossing points of the acceleration curve, such that all elements of the corresponding sum are of the same sign, and consequent area signals have maximal amplitude. Pairs of substantially equal and opposite area signals may be sought, occurring within a given time separation, these characteristic of an opening or closing motion, consisting of a first acceleration in a first direction followed by a second in an opposing direction. Apparatus for the reliable detection of opening or closing events is also provided.

An undermount drawer slide mounting clip releasably attaches a drawer to a drawer rail assembly mounted in a cabinet carcass. The apparatus is capable of effecting positional adjustments of the drawer in three directions without removing the drawer from the cabinet carcass. The apparatus is comprised of a body slidingly engaged with a bonnet. A trigger pivotally connected between the body and the bonnet. A spring loaded catch slidable within the bonnet and acted on by the trigger to releasably attach the apparatus to a drawer rail assembly. A threaded spindle rotates within the base and adjusts the horizontal position of the drawer. A ramp adjustably connected to the base adjusts the vertical position of the drawer. A plunger extends from a housing connected to the body to adjacent the drawer rail assembly and adjusts the depth of the drawer.

Guide mechanism and method for manufacturing same

A guide mechanism includes: a guide member having a first groove; a slide member having a second groove; and rolling bodies arranged in a guide groove comprising the first groove and the second groove. A stopper for preventing the rolling bodies from moving out of the guide groove is affixed to the second groove by welding. A method for manufacturing the guide mechanism includes a welding step in which the second groove and the stopper are welded by resistance welding while the stopper is pressed against the second groove.

Slide rail assembly and operation method thereof

A slide rail assembly includes first to third rails and an engaging mechanism movably mounted on the second rail. The second rail is displaceable with respect to the first rail, and the third rail is displaceable with respect to the second rail. The three rails define a length when the second rail is displaced from a first to a second position in a first direction and the third rail, to a third position in the same direction, extending out of the second rail. Once the second rail is displaced from the second to a fourth position in a second direction, the length is reduced, and the second rail is kept at the fourth position by the engaging mechanism.
