SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATION OF COLLAPSIBLE MULTI-SHELF CARTS
A multi-shelf storage apparatus for storage of articles, comprising a wheeled base; a frame disposed on the wheeled base; a plurality of vertically-spaced shelves on the frame for providing a storage area for articles, each shelf configured to move vertically. The apparatus includes a lift mechanism disposed on the frame, coupled to the shelves, and configured to cause collapse and extension of the shelves in a vertical direction. The apparatus has an actuator on the frame operable to drive the lift mechanism, and a power interface on the frame and electrically connected to the actuator. The apparatus has a mechanical connection for connecting to a towing device and a first power interface integral to the mechanical connection such that the actuator can receive electrical power from the towing device. Systems comprising one or more of the apparatuses and methods for loading/unloading articles utilizing the apparatuses are also disclosed.
Support part, housing structure using the same, and item
A support part that supports a lower portion of a housing upon installation of an item on an installation surface, includes: a leg part including an outer leg portion, an inner leg portion, and a connecting portion, the outer leg portion being provided so as to come into contact with the installation surface and extending from a gap between the lower portion of the housing and the installation surface so as to protrude outward of an outer side surface of the housing, the inner leg portion being disposed above the outer leg portion and extending inward of the outer side surface of the housing, the connecting portion connecting the outer leg portion and the inner leg portion inside the outer side surface of the housing; a raising/lowering section that is provided at the lower portion of the housing and that supports the inner leg portion of the leg part so as to raise and lower the inner leg portion; and an operation section that is provided so that a portion of the operation section protrudes outward of an outer side surface of the connecting portion of the leg part and that operates a raising/lowering movement of the raising/lowering section.
FOOT ADJUSTING SYSTEM AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING SAME
Provided are a foot adjusting system and a refrigerator having same, the foot adjusting system including: a driving rotating wheel, a part of which forms a driving rotating shaft; a drive belt, sleeved on an outer periphery of the driving rotating shaft; and a foot, provided with a screw rod and a driven rotary disc, the screw rod being rotatably screwed into a threaded hole at a bottom of an apparatus where the foot adjusting system is installed, an outer periphery of the driven rotary disc being sleeved with the drive belt to be in a transmission connection with the driving rotating shaft, and the driven rotary disc being fixedly connected to the screw rod or integrated with the screw rod to form a one-piece part so as to drive the screw rod to rotate. The leveling difficulty and the installation difficulty of the apparatus can be reduced.
REUSABLE FURNITURE PAD
A reusable furniture pad that protects flooring and prevents furniture from sliding. The pad is made of an elastomeric material that rebounds after sustained compression, preferably closed cell Polyvinyl Chloride. The pad acts as a barrier between the floor and furniture bases. The top surface of the pad is configured to receive furniture bases, where the weight of the furniture creates indentations in the pad. These indentations firmly secure any furniture base on all sides, preventing horizontal motion of the furniture relative to the pad. The top and bottom surfaces of the pad may be textured to improve grip.
Movable bearing device
A movable bearing device includes a base, a plurality of casters, and a plurality of foot pads. The casters are provided on the bottom of the base. The foot pads are movably connected to the bottom of the base in a way that the foot pads are moved upwards and downwards with respect to the base. When the foot pads are moved downwards until their bottom surfaces each have a height equal to or lower than the bottom edges of the casters, the movable bearing device is supported on the ground by means of the foot pads, such that the movable bearing device cannot be moved. When the foot pads are moved upwards until their bottom surfaces each have a height higher than the bottom edges of the casters, the movable bearing device can be moved by means of the casters so as to facilitate the handling work.
Removable tripod foot with securement
Installation of a removable tripod foot is facilitated by a cross-axis aperture in the foot and loosening of the threaded connection of the foot and the tripod's leg is resisted by a resilient element engaging interfacing surfaces of the foot and the leg.
LOCKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR FURNITURE COMPONENTS
An assembly comprising a first furniture component and a second furniture component is disclosed. The first furniture component comprises a spring-loaded detent. The spring-loaded detent is biased axially along a central axis toward a locked configuration. The second furniture component comprises a lock arrangement. The first furniture component and the second furniture component are rotatably connected about the central axis through a rotary range of motion. The lock arrangement is configured to move the spring-loaded detent from the locked configuration to an unlocked configuration during the rotary range of motion, release the spring-loaded detent from the unlocked configuration after the rotary range of motion, and prevent rotation of the spring-loaded detent in the locked configuration after the rotary range of motion.
COLLAPSIBLE MOBILE DESK
A mobile desk system that allows for the transportation of a seat, a desk, and additional materials by a single user. The desk and associated chair combine to form a transportation unit that can be operated by a user with one hand. The transportation unit can also carry additional equipment. Once the transportation unit is at the desired location, the equipment is offloaded and the desk and chair are set up per the user's needs.
Table assembly with reversible leg assemblies
A leg assembly for a table includes a support that is configured to couple to a table worksurface. A leg member engages the support and is movable with respect to the support such that the leg assembly is configured to support the table worksurface above a floor surface. A first friction reduction member is attached to a first end of the leg member. A second friction reduction member is configured to attach to a second end of the leg member. The first and second ends are configured to alternately engage the support from one another such that the leg member is reversibly received by the support and such that the first friction reduction member abuts the floor surface when the second end of the leg member engages the support, and the second friction reduction member abuts the floor surface when the first end of the leg member engages the support.
Mobile desk assembly
A mobile desk assembly for provision of a mobile and transportable workstation includes a first leg, which is positioned between a pair of first plates and engaged thereto by a plurality of first pins so that the first plates bracket the first leg. A seat is engaged to a first end of the pair of first plates. A rod is engaged via a first pivot pin to the first plates, proximate a second end thereof. A pair of second legs is hingedly engaged to the rod distal from the first plates. The first leg, the rod, and the second legs are selectively positionable in a deployed (tripodal) and a collapsed configurations. The first and second legs each have a wheel rotationally engaged thereto. A panel engaged to an upper terminus of the first leg is substantially parallel to the surface and can support an article positioned thereupon.
