An apparatus includes a base to switch the apparatus between slidable and non-slidable states, for example a laboratory analysis device, wherein the base is adapted to be located on a flat surface, the base comprising a bottom section adapted to contact the flat surface when the base is located on the flat surface, a movable section that is adapted to assume a retracted position and an extended position, wherein, in the retracted position, the movable section does not contact the flat surface when the base is located on the flat surface, and, in the extended position, the movable section contacts the flat surface when the base is located on the flat surface.
Joining and levelling system for parts of furniture and furnishing items
A joining and leveling system for parts of furniture and furnishing items having a bottom or base and a shoulder includes, in combination, a front foot unit and a rear foot unit, wherein each of the front and rear foot units includes a maneuverable connection group with a constraining element and a leveling group with a height adjustment mechanism, wherein both the maneuverable connection group and the leveling group of the front foot and the rear foot unit can be actuated from the front with respect to the furniture through the space between the bottom or base and the floor, and wherein the connection group and the leveling group of the rear foot unit can be actuated from the front using actuation or transmission rods, of which a front end is positioned adjacent to actuation holes of the connection group and the leveling group of the front foot unit.
Furniture leg sock
A furniture leg protective sock is constructed of a stretchable/expandable non-friction material, which forms an outer surface and an inner surface. The furniture leg protective sock includes non-penetrating material to prevent the furniture leg from piercing through the non-friction material.
Adjustable leg
A kit comprising a cabinet base (30), an adjustable leg for supporting a cabinet, the leg comprising: a first component (60) having an attachment structure for attachment to a cabinet and a first threaded element (63) integral with and extending from the attachment structure, the attachment structure comprising at least two lugs (65) projecting away from the first threaded element (63); and a second component (40) comprising a second threaded element (70) threadedly engageable at one end of the second component (40) with the first threaded element (63), a foot (72) located at the opposite end of the second component (40), and a driving formation (73) whereby the second component (40) can be engaged by a tool and driven to rotate, the driving formation (73) being located inboard of the thread of the second threaded element (63); the first and second components (40, 60) being configured so that when they are threadedly engaged the driving formation (73) is accessible through the first threaded element (63); the cabinet base defining a hole (38) therethrough and a first set of at least two sockets on its underside for receiving respective ones of the lugs (65), the sockets being positioned relative to the hole (38) such that when the leg is attached to the base (30) with the fixing lugs (65) located in the sockets the driving formation (73) is accessible through the hole (38).
Easily-assembled desk foot and a height-adjustable desk
An easily-assembled desk foot and a height-adjustable desk, the desk foot including: a desk foot body, which is internally hollow; an insertion opening at each end of the body and a connection hole on the desk foot body for connecting a lower end of a lifting column; and an end cover assembly at each end of the body, with insertion portions matched with the insertion openings of both ends of the body. The bottom of the insertion portion is connected with a support portion protruding downwardly and extending along a length direction of the insertion portion. The insertion portion and the support portion are integrally formed. When the insertion portion of the end cover assembly is inserted into the insertion opening, the support portion is supported at the bottom of the body. The height-adjustable desk according to the above technical solutions is simple and cost-saving to produce.
Movable standoffs with posts
In an example, a movable standoff may include or be attached to a bracket having a post opening, and a post insertable into the post opening. The post may include a low shoulder portion disposed at a first end and a high shoulder portion. Further, the movable standoff may include a nut to fasten to a second end of the post, the first end being opposite from the second end. The high shoulder portion may be disposed in between the first end and the second end. The movable standoff may additionally include a bias member disposed in between the nut and the bracket.
LEVELERS FOR STABILIZING FURNITURE AND ITEMS WITH FEET
A leveler for stabilizing furniture and other items which may be stacked one upon another in a stackable fashion. One or more stackable levelers may be used for many indoor, garage, patio, pool, and outdoor applications. Chair Leg Mountable Coaster Assembly
A chair leg mountable coaster assembly includes a plate that is mountable to one of a plurality of legs of a chair. The plate extends laterally from the leg in a single direction that is orientated parallel to a plane that extends through bottom ends of the plurality of legs. The plate is one of a plurality of the plates, each of which is configured to be mountable to a respective one of the plurality of the legs so that each leg is engaged with one of the plates. The plates reduce penetration of the legs into a soft substrate, such as sand, dirt, and soil. The plates are sized to allow multiple ones of the chairs to be stacked without interference by the plates.
