EVAPORATOR AND FUEL CELL ARRANGEMENT

The invention relates to an evaporator (V) comprising an evaporator body (3) surrounded by an evaporator housing (5) having an inlet (1) for supply of liquid into the evaporator housing (5) and an outlet (6) for discharge of vapour generated,

wherein the evaporator body (3) comprises a multitude of plates (7) arranged flat one on top of another,
wherein there is a liquid distributor (2) for distributing the liquid between the multitude of plates (7) arranged between the inlet (1) and the evaporator body (3),
wherein each of the plates (7) comprises, on a first surface, a liquid distributor structure (10) with distributor conduits (20, 21, 22), an evaporator area (11) and a gas collection structure (12).

The invention further relates to a corresponding fuel cell arrangement.

Steam generation

A heat exchanger assembly, comprising: heat exchanger pipework which comprises a plurality of elongate tube elements which extend in spaced relation and a plurality of pipe end couplings which fluidly connect open ends of respective tube elements, wherein the pipe end couplings each comprise a main body part to which the open ends of the respective tube elements are fixed, and an enclosure part which is fixed to the main body part and provides a closed fluid connection between the open ends of the respective tube elements; and a plurality of fins which extend in spaced relation and optionally substantially orthogonally to the tube elements, wherein the fins each comprise a sheet element, optionally a single, continuous sheet element, which includes a plurality of apertures through which extend respective ones of the tube elements, and a plurality of fin coupling elements which are located within respective ones of the fin apertures to interface the tube elements to the sheet elements.

Oxidative coupling of methane for olefin production

The present disclosure provides natural gas and petrochemical processing systems, including oxidative coupling of methane reactor systems that may integrate process inputs and outputs to cooperatively utilize different inputs and outputs in the production of higher hydrocarbons from natural gas and other hydrocarbon feedstocks. The present disclosure also provides apparatuses and methods for heat exchange, such as an apparatus that can perform boiling and steam super-heating in separate chambers in order to reach a target outlet temperature that is relatively constant as the apparatus becomes fouled. A system of the present disclosure may include an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) subsystem that generates a product stream comprising compounds with two or more carbon atoms, and a dual compartment heat exchanger downstream of, and fluidically coupled to, the OCM subsystem.
