Solid Fuel Burner

The present invention provides a solid fuel burner which ensures ignition performance and flame holding performance of a fuel nozzle. The present invention provides a solid fuel burner which achieves cost reduction by simplifying the structure of the fuel nozzle, for example, and which ensures the ignition performance and flame holding performance of the fuel nozzle. Further, the present invention provides a burner which enables stable combustion by both solid fuel and oil combustion with the suppression of soot and dust and mist generated during the oil start-up envisaged. The solid fuel burner of the present invention includes: a fuel nozzle straight tube portion allowing a mixing gas of a solid fuel and its carrier gas to flow therethrough; a fuel nozzle throttling portion narrowing a flow passage of the mixing gas passed through the fuel nozzle straight tube portion; a fuel nozzle diffusion portion horizontally expanding the flow passage of the mixing gas passed through the fuel nozzle throttling portion; a fuel nozzle outlet portion connected to the fuel nozzle diffusion portion and having an outlet flattened in shape; a ring-shaped outer peripheral flame stabilizer disposed on an outer periphery of the fuel nozzle outlet portion; and an inner flame stabilizer disposed in the fuel nozzle outlet portion and horizontally dividing the mixing gas passed through the fuel nozzle diffusion portion.

An implosion reactor tube is provided, including: a receptacle body having a tube shape open at a first end; a cylinder positioned within the receptacle body; a mixing chamber at a second end of the receptacle body; the mixing chamber defined by a baffle; the baffle having a plurality of inner passages proximate to the cylinder allowing fluid passage through the baffle and a plurality of outer passages proximate to the receptacle body allowing passage of air and fuel through said baffle; a fuel and air inlet for allowing the air and fuel to enter the mixing chamber; and a flash igniter for igniting the air and fuel.

Film temperature optimizer for fired process heaters

A fired heater with a film temperature optimizer is presented. The fired heater is for heating a process fluid in process coils within the fired heater. The process coils experience high temperatures at the outlets. The film temperature optimizer includes baffles or means for changing the flow of the fired heating gas around the process coils near the coil outlets. The baffles are positioned near the process coil outlets.

A vehicle heater includes a burner area includes a circumferential wall providing a combustion chamber, a flame tube with a first end forming or adjacent to a part of the combustion chamber circumferential wall and a second flame tube end. A heat exchanger housing has a circumferential wall enclosing the flame tube. A waste gas backflow space is formed, between an outer side of the flame tube and an inner side of the heat exchanger housing circumferential wall, with an inlet area at the second flame tube end and with an outlet area in the area of the first flame tube end. An inner dimension of the circumferential wall increases in the direction from an inlet area of the waste gas backflow space to an outlet area. An outer dimension of the flame tube increases in the direction from the second flame tube end to the first flame tube end.

The present invention is directed to a heating adaptor device and method to use that heating adaptor device to replace a 1960-era infrared heater with a modern infrared heater while retaining a 1960-era pipe system. Without the heating adaptor device, (a) the 1960-era pipe system has to be replaced to avoid the known deleterious effects that would occur.

Low NOx burner with exhaust gas recycle and partial premix

The pre-mix burner assembly includes a jet pump comprising a suction chamber, a flue gas inlet, and a combustion air tube with a combustion air nozzle. The combustion air inlet includes a combustion air tube with a tapered nozzle, and it is connected to a combustion air fan. The flue gas inlet is connected to the suction chamber and the combustion air fan. The suction chamber surrounds the combustion air tube, and it has a jet pump nozzle with a discharge. The assembly includes a fuel gas inlet connected to the combustion air tube. The combustion air and fuel gas mixture exits the combustion air nozzle creating a negative pressure in the suction chamber and drawing flue gas into the suction chamber. The assembly includes a mixing tube positioned downstream of the jet pump discharge, and a burner block connected to an outlet of the mixing tube.

Burning type heat source and flavor inhaler

A burning type heat source (50) includes: a single longitudinal hollow (51) extending along the first direction (D1); and a lateral hollow (52) extending along a second direction (D2) crossing the first direction (D1), the lateral hollow (52) communicating with the longitudinal hollow (51). The ignition end (50Ae) is provided at the ignition end (50Ae) side in the first direction relative to a burning position at an end of a second inhalation.
