Convertible mower deck with mulch on demand actuator
A convertible mower deck has a plurality of cutting chambers with a rotary cutting blade in each chamber and a side discharge opening from one of the cutting chambers, pivoting gates between the adjacent cutting chambers, and a pivoting side discharge door between a cutting chamber and the side discharge opening. Each of the gates and side discharge door are movable between a discharge or collection position and a mulching position. A mulch on demand actuator includes a switch in an operator station that causes a pivot control plate on a shaft to rotate and move linkages between the gates and door between the discharge or collection position and mulching position.
Mulch kit control lever
A mulch kit control lever with a detent plate attached to the top surface of a mower deck, and a vertically oriented pivot pin extending through the detent plate and through the mower deck and engaging a mulch gate. A pivoting handle connected to the pivot pin moves the mulch gate between a side discharge position and a mulching position. A detent pin on the handle abuts a first stop on the detent plate in the side discharge position and a second stop on the detent plate in the mulching position.
POWER EQUIPMENT DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE ATTACHMENTS
The disclosed technology relate to a device and system that include an outdoor power equipment power unit or cart configured to releasably couple a number of different interchangeable attachments or work implements to a common power unit, where some attachments include and/or require operator presence control, while other attachments do not include and/or require operator presence control. The outdoor power equipment power unit includes a power transfer coupling member operatively coupled to the drive shaft and configured to transfer rotational power to the associated attachment; and an operator presence actuation member operatively coupled to the operator presence control member, the operator presence actuation member configured to rotate in response to user actuation of the operator presence control member.
APPARATUS FOR FORWARD MOUNTING ATTACHMENTS TO A WHEELED VEHICLE
An apparatus, system and method of securing attachments to a utility vehicle, particularly a stand-on, zero-turn mower. The apparatus includes an A-shaped mounting assembly having a base with first and second ends and a tubular member extending outwardly from the first end. The tubular member defines a bore that receives a shaft extending from the attachment. The mounting assembly is positioned vertically above a mower deck but on an opposite side of the frame of the mower relative thereto. The second end of the mounting assembly and part of the mower deck are secured to the frame using the same connectors. A hydraulic actuator engages a forwardmost end of the assembly and is actuatable to raise or lower the assembly relative to the frame, pivoting the assembly about the connectors. The attachment and mower deck are substantially simultaneously operable to perform separate landscaping tasks while the mower moves across a surface.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A MOWER DECK ON A MOWER
An apparatus, system and method for raising or lowering a mower deck on a stand-on, zero-turn mower. The apparatus includes a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system includes a cylinder and piston that are selectively engaged with a deck hanging assembly used to secure the mower deck to the mower's frame. The deck hanging assembly includes a pivot rod from which one or more tabs extend. The piston is selectively engaged with the one or more tabs. When extended from the cylinder, the piston rotates the tabs and thereby the pivot rod in a first direction and lowers the mower deck. When retracted into the cylinder the piston rotates the tabs and thereby the piston in a second direction and raises the mower deck. When the hydraulic system is disengaged from the mower deck, the deck may be manually raised or lowered.

Implement coupling arrangement
An implement coupling arrangement, typically for use with a lawn care vehicle (1), comprising a first part arranged to be coupled to a vehicle (1) and a second part arranged to be selectively mounted on the first part, in which the first part comprises a support arm (5) configured to support the second part, a mounting (6) for moveably mounting the support arm (5) relative to the vehicle (1), and a biasing member (7) arranged so as to bias the support arm (5) upwards relative to the vehicle (1), in which the second part comprises an implement (9) and a mounting assembly (8), the mounting assembly (8) and the support arm (5) being interengageable so as to mount the second part on the first part; and in which the arrangement further comprises a locking mechanism (10), which has a locked state which inhibits movement of the support arm (5) upwards relative to the vehicle (1) beyond a point, and an unlocked state which allows upward movement of the support arm (5) relative to the vehicle (1) beyond the point; in which disengagement of the mounting assembly (8) from the support arm (5) causes the locking mechanism (10) to enter the locked state.
