A burner (161) includes: a burner main body (162); a plurality of driving cylinders (163) that are disposed parallel to a direction of an axis line in which the burner main body (162) moves, and drive movement of the burner main body (162); a connecting member that connects the burner main body (162) and the plurality of driving cylinders (163); and a fitting member (170) that is provided between the burner main body (162) and the connecting member, and constrains relative movement in the direction of the axis line (X) and permits relative movement in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the axis line (X).
Combustible waste injection device and method for operating the same
There is provided a combustible waste injection device and a method for operating the same which can suppress a landing combustion of a combustible waste and suppress excessive change of a flame state from a cement kiln burner even if a rate of using the combustible waste fluctuates. A combustible waste injection device according to the present invention has a combustible waste flow channel which is arranged in an inner side of the air flow channel in an innermost shell, is installed in parallel to an axial direction of the cement kiln burner device and is provided for flow feeding a combustible waste flow, and the combustible waste flow channel has an inclined surface having a rising slope toward the injection port near the injection port in such a manner that a flow channel width in a vertical direction is narrowed toward the injection port.
Over fire arrangement and method
The present invention relates to an over fire air arrangement for a furnace (1), the furnace (1) having opposing first wall (4) and second wall (6) and opposing first side wall (5) and second side wall (7) between the first and second walls (4, 6) for forming a furnace enclosure (2). The over fire air arrangement comprising at least one first over fire air port (20) provided to the first wall (4) for supplying a first over fire air flow (40) into the furnace (1) and at least one first additional over fire air port (50) provided to at least one of the first and second side walls (5, 7) in the vicinity of the first wall (4), the at least one first additional over fire air port (50) being arranged to supplying a first additional over fire air flow (60) into the furnace (1) transversely to the first over fire air flow (40).
Injector arrangement for diesel engines using slurry or emulsion fuels
The present invention relates to a fuel injection arrangement for a diesel type engine configured to use carbonaceous aqueous slurry fuels. The fuel injection arrangement includes an injector nozzle for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber; a pump chamber housing a fuel pumping element for generating a pressurised fuel flow to the injector nozzle along an injection path between the pumping element and the injector nozzle; and a check valve connected to a fuel supply for regulating and supplying fuel to the injection path via a check valve outlet. A region immediately downstream of the check valve outlet defines an outlet region and the check valve is arranged to expose the outlet region to the pressurised fuel flow to facilitate flushing of the outlet region during fuel flow between the pumping element and the injector nozzle.

Pulverizing device, throat for pulverizing device, and pulverized-coal fired boiler
A pulverizing device includes: a housing; a pulverization table configured to rotate inside the housing; and a throat, disposed inside the housing on a radially outer side of the pulverization table, for forming an upward air flow. The throat includes: an inner ring extending along an outer periphery of the pulverization table; an outer ring, disposed on a radially outer side of the inner ring so as to form an annular flow passage between the inner ring and the outer ring; and a plurality of throat vanes disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The following expressions are satisfied: 2.0≤L/d≤4.0; and 0.5≤H/d≤1.5, where H is a gap between the inner ring and the outer ring with respect to a radial direction, L is a length of the throat vanes, and ‘d’ is a distance between adjacent two of the throat vanes.
