APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING OFF-GASES FROM NATURAL GAS DEHYDRATOR
An apparatus and method for reclaiming uncondensed hydrocarbons normally exhausted to the atmosphere from a still column of a glycol dehydrator system, and combusting the uncondensed hydrocarbons in a burner assembly of a reboiler after the burner assembly has been ignited by fuel gas.
System and components for evaluating the performance of fire safety protection devices
A fire safety protection evaluation system includes at least one horizontal collection device and at least one vertical collection device. The at least one horizontal collection device includes a liquid collection pan with a substantially horizontal opening, a first storage container in communication with the liquid collection pan, and a first measuring device to measure an amount of liquid in the first storage container and/or a rate of liquid entering the first storage container. The at least one vertical collection device includes a substantially vertical liquid collection surface extending between a top edge and a bottom edge, a trough located along the bottom edge to collect liquid from the substantially vertical collection surface, and a second measuring device to measure an amount of liquid and/or a rate of liquid collected by the trough.
Flare Pilot with Water Accumulation Evacuation
A flare pilot assembly has inner and outer tubes, defining inner and outer passages. A manifold delivers air and fuel to the outer passage. A bleed off passage directs a portion of the fuel and air entering the manifold to the exterior of the manifold. A diversion port in the inner tube diverts into the inner passage a portion of the air and fuel flowing through the outer passage. An electrical sparking device ignites air and fuel flowing through the inner passage. An evacuating tube extends from the manifold through the inner passage to the distal portion of the inner tube. The evacuating tube conveys moisture that may accumulate at the distal portion of the inner passage through the bleed off passage to the exterior.

Nozzle for power station burner and method for the use thereof
A burner nozzle for delivering fuel to a burner flame in a furnace includes an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder that are both hollow. The inner cylinder is at least partly disposed within the outer cylinder and axially aligned with it, and is movable in an axial direction relative to the outer cylinder. One end of the inner cylinder has at least one outward projection extending in a radial direction from the outer surface of the cylinder, this projection serving to decrease the free cross-sectional area between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder at that end of the inner cylinder.

METHOD AND IMPROVED FURNANCE FOR REDUCING EMISSIONS OF NITROGEN OXIDES
A method and improved furnace for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions from a furnace having a plurality of primary fuel injectors and a plurality of spaced apart over-fire air injectors positioned above the primary fuel injectors are disclosed. Injection of over-fire air produces zones of cooler combustion gasses containing over-fire air that separate zones of hot combustion gasses containing nitrogen oxides. Reburn fuel injectors inject a reburn fuel into the zones of hot combustion making the effluent combustion gases containing nitrogen oxides partially or totally fuel-rich in order to further reduce nitric oxide.
Pilot and burner system for firefighting training
A pilot and burner apparatus is provided for use in firefighting training. The apparatus includes a main fuel conduit and a main fuel valve. The apparatus includes a pilot tube and a pilot fuel conduit configured to deliver fuel from the main fuel conduit to the pilot tube. The apparatus includes main and pilot fuel valves to respectively control a flow of fuel in the main and pilot fuel conduits. In a pilot phase, the valves direct fuel to the pilot tube. An ignition component is configured to ignite fuel in the pilot tube to generate a pilot flame. In a burn phase, the pilot flame generates a controllable flame out of a main burner pipe by igniting fuel exiting the main fuel conduit. The controllable flame can be delivered to a training structure for training purposes.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RETROFITTING AN INDUSTRY STANDARD VALVE
Methods and systems are provided for a fire device. In one example, a method for control of a fire device includes receiving a wireless input selecting a first mode, actuating a two-stage valve included in the fire device to open to a second stage, via a first control signal, to flow gas through a main gas channel, actuating a variable valve positioned on the main gas channel downstream of the two-stage valve to open to a first position, via the first control signal, to flow gas through the main gas channel, and receiving a second wireless input to adjust the variable valve responsive to an audio input.
