A heat shrink gas gun has a handle which has a back side and a front side. The front side of the handle includes a cavity extending along an axis. An igniter is configured for ignition of the heat shrink gas gun and is actuated by a trigger. The igniter is insertably disposed in the cavity. The igniter is releasably received in the cavity. A trigger guard is positioned in front of the trigger and the front side in a spaced relationship. The trigger guard includes a through hole corresponding to the cavity so as to facilitate installation and replacement of the igniter.

PLASMA INJECTION MODULES
20210247070 · 2021-08-12 ·

A plasma injection module includes a fuel receiving end, a discharge end opposite the fuel receiving end, and an axial fluid pathway extending between the fuel receiving end and the discharge end. An insulator assembly defines a first portion of the axial fluid pathway proximate to the fuel receiving end. An injection tube assembly having a permanent magnet is positioned downstream of the insulator. A voltage input connection is arranged downstream of the insulator assembly and upstream of the injection tube assembly. The voltage input connection secures a voltage source to the injection tube to form a plasma filament within and adjacent to the axial fluid pathway. During operation a permanent magnet produces a magnetic field that interacts with the plasma filament to rotate the plasma filament and increase an area of ignition between the plasma filament and the combustible material at the discharge end.

COOKING DEVICE

A cooking device is provided. The cooking device includes a frame that forms a cooking chamber; a burner provided inside the frame and having a plurality of gas outlet holes; an ignition unit provided inside the frame to ignite a mixed gas discharged from at least one of the plurality of gas outlet holes; and a fixing device to affix a position of the ignition unit with respect to the burner.

COOKING APPLIANCE
20210199290 · 2021-07-01 ·

Gas cooking appliance including at least one burner and an ignition device configured to ignite the burner. The ignition device includes a pulse generator configured to send at least one electric pulse for the purpose of generating a spark to ignite the burner. The cooking appliance also includes a flame detector configured to detect the presence/absence of a flame in the burner. The pulse generator is in electrical contact with a part of the burner and the flame detector is connected to ground. The cooking appliance further includes insulating means that insulates the burner with respect to ground, such that when the pulse generator sends at least one electric pulse, an electric spark capable of igniting the burner is generated between the burner and the flame detector.

AN IGNITER
20210199293 · 2021-07-01 ·

An igniter device comprising a holder for a piezo electric ignition source, the holder comprising a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the inner holder is coupled to a piezo electric ignition source including an actuator, and the second end of the inner holder has a surface configured to receive a tip of an oxy fuel torch; and an attachment means to releasably attach the igniter device to a support member; wherein, the actuator is moveable from a relaxed state to a compressed state to thereby activate the piezo electric ignition source to produce a spark for igniting the oxy fuel torch to produce a flame when the igniter device is attached to the support member.

Hot surface igniters for cooktops

Hot surface igniter assemblies used in cooktops are shown and described. The hot surface igniters include a silicon nitride ceramic body with an embedded, resistive, heat-generating circuit. When energized, the circuit generates temperatures in excess of 2000° F. in under 4 seconds to ignite cooking gas such as natural gas. To prevent damage to the igniter during use or cleaning, an insulator assembly is provided which protects the distal end of the igniter ceramic body from damage while still exposing it to the cooking gas flow from the burner. In addition, a number of different terminal connection schemes for connecting the igniters to a power source are shown and described.
