Burner device for heating apparatus
A burner device (190) comprising an air intake, a burner head (192) including an ignition device, a body section (196) defining a fluid flow channel between said air intake and said burner head (192), and a gas injector (205) for injecting combustible gas into said fluid flow channel. The burner head (192) is oriented such that its longitudinal axis is substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the channel is defined and in which fluid flows, in use, along said channel.
BURNER ACCESS HATCH
A cover plate assembly for use with a furnace system is provided. The cover plate assembly includes a plate, a central opening formed within the plate, a hatch lid positioned at least partially within the central opening and the hatch lid having a body with a baffle area. The cover plate assembly further includes an inlet structure designed to direct a fluid fuel source towards the central opening. The baffle area is positioned towards the inlet structure forming a fluid pathway between the inlet structure and the baffle area. In some instances, the hatch lid is removable such that internal components of the furnace system can be accessed without having to remove the entire cover plate assembly. Also, the cover plate assembly provided herein is designed to distribute a fuel source evenly into a combustion chamber and reduce noise-producing harmonic effects in the furnace system.
Air supply duct for fan and combustion device including the same
An air supply duct for fan is used to guide air to an air intake port of a fan, and includes a duct main body portion in which an air passage extending in a predetermined x direction with one end side set as an air inlet port is formed inside, and an air supply port for supplying air travelling through the air passage to the air intake port of the fan is arranged. A peripheral region of the air supply port of the inside of the duct main body portion is surrounded by wall portions in the periphery except for a communication portion with the air passage, and is configured as a space portion for generating air column vibration and having a width in a y direction intersecting the x direction larger than a width of the air passage. A combustion device including the air supply duct is provided.
Burner
A burner comprises a tubular diffuser wall and an inlet passage for a gas mixture into the diffuser wall, as well as a first diaphragm with one or more first through openings and a second diaphragm with one or more second through openings of different shape and distribution from those of the first through openings, said first and second diaphragms being substantially concentric and arranged in sequence in the inlet passage.
BURNER
A burner comprises a tubular diffuser wall and an inlet passage of a gas mixture in the diffuser wall, as well as a distribution diaphragm having a distribution opening which forms a central passage section and a plurality of peripheral passage sections, in the shape of rays or branches, extending from the central passage section towards the diffuser wall, and in which the peripheral passage sections and the central passage section are connected together to form a single hole.
COOKING APPARATUS
A cooking apparatus can include a main body including at least one opening, the main body forming a cooking chamber, a burner in the main body to heat the cooking chamber, and a silencer mounted to the main body and covering the at least one opening so that: air from an outside of the main body is passable through the silencer and the at least one opening to be supplied to the burner, and noise generated by the burner, and discharged through the silencer and the at least one opening to the outside of the main body, is reduced by the silencer.
Combustor assembly for a gas turbine engine and method of making same
A combustor can assembly includes a plurality of combustor cans spaced circumferentially about a gas turbine engine. Each combustor can is coupled in flow communication with at least one fuel manifold via a respective can fuel line. The combustor can assembly also includes a first interconnecting fuel line that includes a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled in flow communication with the can fuel line of a first combustor can, and the second end is coupled in flow communication with the can fuel line of a second combustor can that is not circumferentially adjacent to the first combustor can. The combustor can assembly further includes a first control device operatively coupled to the can fuel line of the first combustor can. The first control device is operable to change a dynamic operational characteristic of the first and second combustor cans independently of other combustor cans.
IMPLOSION REACTOR TUBE
An implosion reactor tube is provided, including: a receptacle body having a tube shape open at a first end; a cylinder positioned within the receptacle body; a mixing chamber at a second end of the receptacle body; the mixing chamber defined by a baffle; the baffle having a plurality of inner passages proximate to the cylinder allowing fluid passage through the baffle and a plurality of outer passages proximate to the receptacle body allowing passage of air and fuel through said baffle; a fuel and air inlet for allowing the air and fuel to enter the mixing chamber; and a flash igniter for igniting the air and fuel.
