A nozzle assembly includes a fuel distributor for issuing a spray of fuel. A fuel conduit is in fluid communication with the fuel distributor and has a first end and a second end. The first end and/or the second end of the fuel conduit is operatively connected to the fuel distributor. The fuel conduit is configured to allow relative movement between the first end and the second end to accommodate dimensional variations of at least one of the nozzle assembly or a combustor. A nozzle system includes the nozzle assembly and a combustor wall having a nozzle inlet. The nozzle assembly is positioned adjacent to the nozzle inlet.

PRE-MIX FUEL-FIRED APPLIANCE WITH IMPROVED HEAT EXCHANGER INTERFACE

A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a burner and a first housing adjacent the burner so that an interior of the first housing receives combustion gasses from combustion at the burner. A heat exchanger defines a second housing with an inlet proximate an outlet of the first housing so that the inlet of the second housing receives combustion gasses from the outlet of the first housing, and wherein the first and second housings attach at an interface. A barrier extends within, and across an interface between, the outlet of the first housing and the inlet of the second housing and defines a thermal resistance that inhibits heat transfer from the combustion gasses to the interface.

TUBE ASSEMBLY

A tube assembly that may be for a fuel nozzle of a fuel system of a gas turbine engine may have a first tube defining a first flowpath along a centerline, a second tube generally spaced radially outward from the first tube with a first void located between and defined by the first and second tubes, and a support structure located in the first void and extending between the first and second tubes. The support structure is constructed and arranged to minimize or eliminate thermal conduction between the tubes. The entire assembly may be additive manufactured as one unitary piece. One example of a method of operation may include designed-for breakage of the structural support due to thermal stresses thereby further minimizing thermal conduction between tubes.

Turbomachine sparkplug fixing assembly

Assembly comprising, on a turbomachine:a combustion chamber (30) having a longitudinal axis (30a) and comprising: internal and external longitudinal walls (90) having a first opening (90a) substantially transverse to said axis (30a), an outer casing (110) having a second opening (110a) likewise substantially transverse to said axis (30a),a turbomachine sparkplug (150),a device (130) for radially securing the sparkplug (150), which device (130) comprises a sparkplug adapter (160) fixed toward a first end to the outer casing (110), facing the second opening (110a) and through which adapter and casing the sparkplug (150) in question passes, and a sparkplug guide (190) kept in contact with the external longitudinal wall (90), facing the first opening (90a) and through which the sparkplug (150) passes to emerge in the combustion chamber (30), the sparkplug (150) and the sparkplug guide (190) each having a screw thread (103, 105), the screw threads (103, 105) being screwed together so as to stabilize the sparkplug (150) radially to the axis (30a) of the combustion chamber (30) with respect to said external longitudinal wall (90), andin this condition, the sparkplug (150) and the sparkplug guide (190) are mounted freely with respect to the outer casing (110) in a direction substantially radial to the axis of the second opening (110a).

COMBUSTOR ASSEMBLY WITH MOUNTED AUXILIARY COMPONENT

A combustor assembly includes a combustion liner defining a first radial opening, an outer sleeve that at least partially surrounds the combustion liner. The outer sleeve defines a second radial opening. A mounting body having a jacket portion and a flange portion surrounds the first radial opening and extends radially outwardly from an outer surface of the combustion liner towards the outer sleeve. The flange portion is at least partially disposed within the second radial opening. An auxiliary component extends radially within the jacket portion and includes a flange portion. The flange portion of the auxiliary component is connected to the flange portion of the mounting body via a first fastener, and the flange portion of the auxiliary component is connected to the outer sleeve via a second fastener.
