Stools, chairs, and methods using the same
An apparatus that supports a user in a variety of positions to comfortably perform tasks, such as applying one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.
Lateral protecting mechanism and child restraint system therewith
A lateral protecting mechanism includes a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The protecting block is pivotally disposed on a lateral portion of a child carrier. The locking component is slidably disposed on the lateral portion of the child carrier. The protecting block is allowed to pivotally switch between an unfolded position and a folded position when the locking component is located at a releasing position. The protecting block at the folded position is restrained from leaving from the folded position when the locking component is located at a locking position. The driving component is for driving the locking component to slidably switch between the locking position and the releasing position. The operating component is coupled to the driving component for driving the driving component to drive the locking component to slide to the locking position when the operating component is operated.
Adjustable lift chair frame
A lift chair frame is disclosed having an adjustable seat including a front support bar assembly including a left member and a right member connected to the left member, a rear support bar assembly opposite the front support bar assembly along a longitudinal direction, a left support bar connected to the front and rear support bar assemblies, and a right support bar opposite the left support bar along a lateral direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and connected to the front and rear support bar assemblies. The lift chair frame also includes an adjustable back coupled to the adjustable seat, where each of the left and right members includes a plurality of alignment features positioned in predetermined locations that correspond to predetermined adjustable seat widths, such that during assembly one of the predetermined adjustable seat widths can be achieved by 1) aligning one of the alignment features of the left member with one of the alignment features of the right member, and 2) securing the left member to the right member.
Locker seat assembly
A locker includes a pair of spaced-apart upstanding sidewalls having a pair of front edges. A generally horizontal seat extends between and at least partially forward of the front edges of the sidewalls. A lower seatback is positioned between the sidewalls and extends above the horizontal seat, the lower seatback is movable between an open position and a closed position using first lateral and vertical guides. An upper seatback is positioned between the sidewalls and extends above the horizontal seat and the lower seatback, the upper seatback is movable between an open position and a closed position using second lateral and vertical guides. Lateral guides include frame guides, structurally reinforced drawer slides, hinges, or runners. Vertical guides include frame guides, runners, or vertical lift mount assemblies. The seatback assembly at least partially covers a ventilated storage compartment.

Medical table stirrup insert
A stirrup insert for covering a stirrup of a medical examination table includes a foot support portion and an engagement portion, which are together a single integral piece of polymeric material, such as silicone or a similar material. The foot support portion has a contoured upper surface configured to receive a patient's foot and a lower surface configured to engage a front surface of a stirrup. The engagement portion extends from a perimeter edge of the foot support portion and curves inward toward the lower surface of the foot support portion to form a curved lip that extends around at least an upper section of the perimeter edge. The engagement portion may be substantially flexible and resilient, so as to be capable of wrapping over an edge of the stirrup and engaging a rear surface of the stirrup, thereby securing the stirrup insert in place relative to the stirrup.
Infant Care Apparatus
An infant care apparatus includes a base; a drive mechanism disposed on the base; a controller electronically coupled to the drive mechanism; and a support device coupled to the drive mechanism. The support device is configured to be moved in both a horizontal and vertical direction relative to the base by the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is controlled by the controller to move the support device in a plurality of motion profiles relative to the base.

Joystick chair
Joystick chair is an input device for interaction between the user and computer. It enables the movement of the user in games. The invention is used by placing feet on the platform (3) and sitting or leaning on the seat (23). Command for turning is achieved by rotating the seat (23), either to the left or to the right. Command for forward movement is issued by pulling the left or right controller (36, 41) with fingers, while the command for backward movement is issued by pushing the left or right controller (36, 41) away by palms. Control handles for lateral movement (49, 56) are separated from the forward-back controls that are located on the controllers (36, 41). Other commands are achieved with buttons on the left and right controller and they are accessible with thumbs. The software allows the modifications of all available actions of the invention.
Balance chair
A balance chair, comprising a seat, an in substance vertical height element supporting the seat, and a base supporting the height element and seat, distinctive in that the balance chair comprises a rotation and tilt element, arranged in a position in substance midway between the seat and a lower end of the base.
