Method and device for producing superheated steam by means of the heat produced in the boiler of an incineration plant

A method generates superheated steam using heat generated in a boiler of an incineration plant. The pre-superheated steam is fed to a final superheater that includes a plurality of final superheater pipes through which the pre-superheated steam is guided and is finally superheated in the process. The final superheater pipes (are arranged at least partially in at least one cavity (formed in an interior of a wall element of the boiler and/or of a bulkhead arranged in the boiler. The cavity is closed off on a boiler side at least partially by a refractory material layer and is flowed over by flue gas released during combustion. A secondary medium flows through the cavity and is heated via heat transfer from the flue gas via the refractory material layer. The heated secondary medium is fed via a secondary medium feed line to a secondary heat exchanger.

COMBUSTIBLE WASTE TREATMENT METHOD
20240230083 · 2024-07-11 ·

Provided is a combustible waste treatment method capable of suppressing the falling rate of even combustible waste having relatively poor combustibility into a clinker during combustion.

The combustible waste treatment method includes: blowing first combustible waste having flammability into a kiln from a first waste burner disposed at a position vertically above a main burner blowing main fuel; and blowing second combustible waste having flame retardancy into the kiln from a second waste burner disposed at a position vertically above the first waste burner.

Solid and Black Waste Mitigation System and Process

A system for waste processing includes a feeder for receiving a waste stream of carbonaceous materials, multiple independently controllable augers, a reactor and an incinerator. The reactor receives a waste stream from the feeder and using a controllable heating element assembly converts the carbonaceous materials in the waste stream to syngas. The incinerator uses the syngas from the reactor to incinerate separately received black water waste from a storage tank.

Two-stage energy-integrated product gas generation system and method

A multi-stage product gas generation system converts a carbonaceous material, such as municipal solid waste, into a product gas which may subsequently be converted into a liquid fuel or other material. One or more reactors containing bed material may be used to conduct reactions to effect the conversions. Unreacted inert feedstock contaminants present in the carbonaceous material may be separated from bed material using a portion of the product gas. A heat transfer medium collecting heat from a reaction in one stage may be applied as a reactant input in another, earlier stage.

THREE STEP ULTRA-COMPACT PLASMA SYSTEM FOR THE HIGH TEMPERATURE TREATMENT OF WASTE ONBOARD SHIPS
20190056105 · 2019-02-21 · ·

An apparatus for thermal processing of waste having organic and inorganic components comprises at least a treatment station, a cooling station and a treated material-removal station, and at least three crucibles. The treatment station is adapted to thermally treat the organic components and/or inorganic components located in a given one of the crucibles located at the treatment station. The so-treated components in this given crucible are adapted to then be cooled at the cooling station, before the treated components located in the given crucible are removed therefrom at the treated material-removal station. The three crucibles are mounted on a turntable so that the three crucibles are each at one of the stations, before synchronously all moving to each crucible's next station.
