Bathing assistance assembly
A bathing assistance assembly includes a chair that may be removably positioned within a shower. The chair may support a user thereby facilitating the user to bathe. The chair includes a post and the post has an adjustable height. The post includes a plurality arms that are movably coupled to the post. A selected one of the arms engages the shower and the selected arm inhibits the chair from rotating about the post. A harness is removably coupled to the chair and the harness may be worn by the user thereby facilitating the user to be secured to the chair.
Posture seat
Dynamic support systems (10) include a plurality of support members (12), a base material (14), and a support layer (18). Each support member (12) has an upper support surface (20) extending from a first end of a stud (22), and a spherical member (28) extending from a second end of the stud. The base material (14) includes a plurality of receptacles (40) having a socket (42) with a recessed area (52) for positioning a spring (56). The support layer (18) also includes a plurality of apertures (64) that are positioned over the receptacles (40) and allow the studs (22) to extend there through.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A support assembly for a vehicle seat includes a base plate and a support plate. The support plate is rotatably coupled to the base plate at a peripheral edge. First and second inflatable members are positioned between the base plate and the support plate. A fluid supply is in fluid communication with the first and second inflatable members.
Folding frames for furniture and bedding
A sleeper sofa having a bridge joint to inhibit bowing between frames in a sleeper position is provided although other folding articles are contemplated. The sleeper sofa has a first frame section and a second frame section foldable/pivotable from a first sitting position to a second sleeping position. When in the sleeping position, the bridge joint extends under and between the first and second frame section to provide support to inhibit bowing at the junction between the first and second frame section. The bridge joint includes a pivot axle and an anti-buckling member coupled to a pivot guide having a track. The anti-buckling member travels in the track as the first and second frames are unfolded about the pivotal axle.
CHAIR ASSEMBLY WITH UPHOLSTERY COVERING
A chair back assembly includes a substantially rigid back frame assembly, a back shell member operably supported by the back frame assembly and including a laterally extending top portion, a laterally extending bottom portion and a pair of longitudinally extending side portion extending between the top portion and the bottom portion and cooperating therewith to define an open space therebetween, wherein the pair of side portions are substantially rigid in a lateral direction, and wherein the back shell member is substantially rigid in a lateral direction and substantially flexibly resilient in a fore-to-aft direction, and a cover having a first surface adapted to support a seated user and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the cover is positioned over the back shell member to cover at least a portion of the open space.

Vehicle seat
To improve steering operability in a driver's seat, and to improve posture maintaining capability at the time of turning in the driver's seat and a seat other than the driver's seat. In a vehicle seat including a seat, a seat backrest, and a headrest, the seat backrest has a seat backrest frame formed in a frame shape and a net disposed to stretch in the seat backrest frame. The net has a first string portion arranged radially.
Chair assembly
A chair assembly includes a base structure defining upper and lower portions, and a support structure, a seat support structure having a forward portion pivotably connected to the upper portion of the base structure for rotation about a first pivot point and a rearward portion, a back support structure having a forward portion pivotably connected to the lower portion of the base structure for rotation about a second pivot point that is located below and rearward of the first pivot point, and an upwardly extending back portion that moves rearwardly and downwardly as the back support structure pivots and the back portion moves, and a control link pivotably coupled to the seat support structure for rotation about a third pivot point and to the back support structure for rotation about a fourth pivot point each located rearward of the first and second pivot points.
Seat assembly for task-oriented seating
A seat assembly for task-oriented seating comprises a seat support and a seat coupled to the seat support. The seat is movable under load, such as from the user's weight and movements, relative to the seat support. The seat has a cushion molded over a supporting armature with multiple bias elements. The seat and seat support are configured to deflect by predetermined amounts at defined locations over an extent of the seat assembly. In this way, the seat assembly provides for a range of comfortable and effective positions for users engaged in different active motions and having different preferences and sizes.
