Non-Return Valve for Flue Gas Venting and Damper Assembly for Use Therein
A non-return valve having an accumulation damper movable relative to a housing and shaped like a bowl to accumulate condensate running down from the chimney. The non-return valve has a smaller floating damper made of a material having a density less than water for resting against the accumulation damper when the appliance is in standstill and sealing the drainage holes in the accumulation damper when the condensate accumulation is below a threshold. Once condensate accumulates in the accumulation damper beyond the threshold, the floating damper is buoyed by the condensate thereby breaking the seal with the drainage holes and permitting the condensate to drain through drainage holes in the accumulation damper. When the appliance is operational, exhaust from the appliance lifts the floating damper and, in some cases, the accumulation damper also, to permit exhaust of combustion gases up the chimney.
Safety Device for Catalytic Converter
Safety devices prevent packaged catalytic converters from being expelled from stacks, or at least reduce the velocity with which such a package may be expelled, in case of an explosion in a bio-fueled appliance, such as a wood-burning stove.

FLUE MOUNTED HOIST
A flue mounted hoist includes an anchor section for anchoring within a flue hole, and an extendable arm. A winch is provided at the end of the extendable arm for attachment to a boiler. The flue mounted hoist allows safe lifting and installation of a wall-mounted boiler by a single person.

Non-return valve for a flow channel through which a flow of air flows
A non-return valve for a flow channel has a housing and an outflow opening that can be closed by a pivoting blocking flap. The blocking flap has a dome-shaped bulge. An opening edge of the outflow opening has a hinge region for the blocking flap that transitions into a blocking flap stop region circumferentially opposite the hinge region. The blocking flap stop region is offset so that the opening edge has a progression that is curved in the circumferential direction and in the outflow direction. The housing has an indentation in the circumferential direction, which is not closed by the blocking flap such that the indentation forms a condensate chamber when the housing is inserted into the surrounding flow channel. The indentation is equipped with a flow opening, through which a condensate accumulating in the condensate chamber delimited by the indentation can flow in the interior of the housing.
Energy Conserving Thermoelectric Generating Chimney Cap
A chimney cap system is comprised of a support base securable to the top of a chimney flue and a device which sits on top of the chimney blocking rain and debris from falling into the open flue. It can be ornamental as well as functional. The sides often have screens of some type to allow the effluent hot gasses and smoke to exit the top of the flue passively while capturing sparks and debris leaving that may pose a fire hazard. Additionally, significant energy is wasted out of the top of the chimney as heat and super heated gasses are vented wastefully into the outside environment. A thermoelectric generator, TEG, utilizing the temperature gradient between the gasses inside the flue and the ambient air outside the flue to generate electricity via the Seebeck effect is incorporated into a chimney cap to capture the otherwise wasted energy and recycle it.

COVER ASSEMBLY, BLOWER ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A blower assembly is attached to a water heater having an exhaust opening, the assembly includes a tank cap attached to a tank of the heater. A recess surface formed in the exterior surface of the cap. A member has a first surface that is connected to the tank cap to form a cover plenum between the cap and the member. The blower includes a motor, an air moving member connected to the motor and a blower housing having an interior containing the fan. The blower housing has an input opening that communicates the blower housing interior with the member output opening. The blower housing, the member and the tank cap provide an exhaust gas flow path from the exhaust opening of the heater through the cover plenum, through the blower housing interior and out the output opening.
