The present application relates to a shop chair with a seat cushion supported by a strong, light-weight base assembly with an elevated central hub that threadably receives a central column to adjust the height of the seat cushion. The base includes several vertically oriented thin plate legs that extend radially outward and downward from a central hub. The outer ends of the legs are joined by a stabilizing ring with a diameter larger than the seat cushion. Oversized caster wheels and the large footprint of the base provide a stable work platform. The seat cushion can be selectively lowered until the bottom of the central post is proximal to or contacts the ground. The chair and its base are particularly suited for work done closer to the ground.

LIGHTWEIGHT COLLAPSIBLE STOOL

The invention relates generally to a lightweight, collapsible, and portable wheeled seat, e.g., a wheeled office chair or stool, for travel, storage, and mobility. The seat includes a seat base member and a seat surface member collapsible between an open, extended position, which is configured to provide a seating surface, and a collapsed, closed position. The seat surface member includes a central seating surface member fixed to the seat base member that has an outer perimeter, and a pair of oppositely disposed and generally u-shaped seating surface members pivotally secured to the seat base member. Each of the generally u-shaped seating surface members include a pair of leg portions that extend from a base portion thereof, or an inward directed perimeter and a portion of each inward directed perimeter has a shape that substantially complementarily corresponds to a shape of a portion of the outer perimeter of the central seating surface member.

An electrically controlled chassis includes: a chassis body; an electrical control box, internally provided with an accommodation space; a drive motor, configured to control lift adjustment of the chassis of the chair and pitch adjustment of a backrest of the chair; a winding mechanism, connected to an output shaft of the drive motor; a first pull cord, reversely wound on the winding mechanism; a second pull cord, normally wound on the winding mechanism; a backrest adjustment mechanism, disposed on the chassis body, and fixedly connected to the other end of the first pull cord; and a chassis lift mechanism, disposed on the chassis body, and fixedly connected to the other end of the second pull cord.

A chair seat of the chair device can rotate or swing, while parts mounted at an upper end of a chair column do not need to be modified, and particularly, a supporting structure, a chair support for the chair seat to be placed, and the chair seat itself do not need to be modified.

A stepstool includes a stool body and a stability extension. The stool body includes a top step and a support structure that supports the top step. The stability extension projects distally from a base portion of the support structure and extends distally beyond a distal edge of the top step. The stability extension is configured to be received in a toe-space at the base of floor-standing furniture, and the stool body is configured so that the distal edge of the top step can be positioned immediately adjacent to the floor-standing furniture, to provide mechanical interference and thus prevent tipping of the stool body when a user on the top step leans out of balance. Also, the sides of the support structure can be angled outwardly to provide a wider base portion for improved stability of the stool body.

The base of the reconfigurable dolly may be configured to be coupled to a base receiving tube. The base receiving tube may be configured for telescoping receipt of a seat receiving tube. The seat receiving tube may be telescopically positionable within the base receiving tube. The seat receiving tube may be configured for receipt and retention of an adjustable seat.
