Headstand Bench
A headstand bench has a bench frame having front and rear pairs of legs connected by a pair of upper rails, and a pair of lower rails extending longitudinally between the front and rear pairs of legs, beneath the pair of upper rails. A headstand plate is mounted on the pair of upper rails adjacent the rear pair of legs, the headstand plate having a first inner edge that includes an inwardly extending recessed area that is sized and shaped for performing headstand exercises. A removable rigid plate is adapted to be removably mounted on the pair of upper rails, and includes a second inner edge that removably interlocks with the first inner edge of the headstand plate. A removable cushion is removably mounted on the removable rigid plate. The removable rigid plate may also be secured on the pair of lower rails.
Ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces
An ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces is disclosed. The method, in some cases, includes the steps of: a) providing a support structure that is generally in the configuration of a rectangular prism having six faces, a length, width, and a height in which the length, width, and height differ from one another so that the structure provides three different height positions when the support structure is placed on the floor of the workspace; b) placing the support structure with one of its faces in contact with a contoured floor surface in a confined work space; and c) sitting or standing on the support structure.

TILTABLE CHAIR
The present invention relates to a tiltable chair including: a fixing base having a tiltable housing disposed on an upward protruding dome-shaped center thereof in such a manner as to be movable in an arbitrary direction; a gas cylinder disposed inside the tiltable housing in such a manner as to be linearly reciprocated in upward and downward directions; a seat plate disposed on top of the gas cylinder; and an elastic tiltable member disposed inside the fixing base in such a manner as to accommodate a longitudinal lower part of the gas cylinder therein to allow the gas cylinder to move tiltably about vertical axis to the bottom of the fixing base, wherein the elastic tiltable member includes a fixed frame located on the bottom of the fixing base, a coupling frame located inside the center portion of the fixed frame to accommodate the gas cylinder therein, and a rubber packing located between the fixed frame and the coupling frame and deformed elastically in every direction, wherein the rubber packing has tilt concave grooves formed inward to a given depth from top and underside respectively in such a manner that the tilt concave grooves are reduced in width toward the insides thereof to thus form inclined surfaces.
Accordingly, the tiltable chair is configured to have the elastic tiltable member for accommodating the gas cylinder therein, instead of a large number of coil springs complicated in structure in the conventional practice, so that the tiltable chair can be made simple in structure, thereby preventing the generation of noise when tilted.
Removable cushion for a chair, mold for making a cushion and a chair having a removable cushion
A removable cushion for a chair having an outer surface and an inner foam, as well as at least one magnetic member. The inner foam and the outer surface are formed from the same polymer, with the outer surface forming an integral skin over the inner foam. The outer surface defines an upper surface and a lower surface. The lower surface is structurally configured to be positioned in an abutting relationship with a seating surface of a chair. The at least one magnetic member is embedded within one of the outer surface and the inner foam, the at least one magnetic member positioned closer to the lower surface than the upper surface of the outer surface. A chair having the cushion, and a mold is likewise disclosed, as is a method of manufacturing the cushion.
REMOVABLE SWIM-UP DOCK BAR
A removable swim-up dock bar is described. The dock bar is removably attachable to a submerged foundation of an existing dock and may have adjustable seats or adjustable legs to ensure proper height and stability.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXERTING FORCE ON BODIES
Systems and methods for exerting forces on a body, including a support structure defining a space and a plurality of surface contacting units that are configured to exert force upon the body, such that the weight is distributed away from the primary weight bearing regions to non-weight bearing regions of the body, or vice versa, without exerting significant shear or frictional forces on surfaces of the body. The systems and methods may be used to exert forces to cause fluid shift in different compartments of the body. Applications include treatment of various disease conditions including pressure ulcers, heart failure, high blood pressure, preeclampsia, osteoporosis, injuries of spine and to slow microgravity-induced bone and muscle loss. The systems and methods may be used to simulate gravity, weightlessness or buoyancy, in rehabilitation medicine. The system may include a chair, bed, a wearable suit or an exoskeleton.
Ergonomically configured muscle release office chair
An office chair that is ergonomically configured to allow for the coordination of stretches to the pectoralis minor muscle, trapezius muscle, and scalene muscles to open up the thoracic outlet, release muscle tension, and reinforce proper structure is provided. The stretches may be performed by an average human user while sitting in the office chair throughout the workday. The ergonomically configured chair assembly may have a brace supported by the seatback and extending downwardly therefrom over a left and right shoulder of the seated average human in a cantilevered fashion and an arm restraining device positioned rearward with respect to the rear face of the upstanding seat back.
Half-sitting stool with supported sit bone
A seating apparatus for supporting a portion of a user, the seating apparatus comprising a reorientable seat portion including a seat platform and a cutout, wherein the seat selectively underlies a first ischial tuberosity of the user but not the second ischial tuberosity, the selection of which is determined by the orientation of the reorientable seat portion.
Adjustable breast pump flange
An adjustable breast pumping flange is provided. The breast pumping flange allows for adjustment of the flange angle relative to a bottle to which the flange connects. This allows for a nursing mother to more comfortably position the flanges and bottles during a pumping session. This increased comfort in turn allows for improved and more efficient milk collection.
