An implement control system including a control, at least one function switching mechanism, and an implement is also provided. Activation of the control is operative to move the implement in a first mode, a second mode, and a third mode by only using two motions of the control.

A multi-tired, modular, electronic system which utilizes restricted usage management. In a multi-tiered environment, lower tiered systems contain, based on configuration, mobile units that are capable of performing simple tasks such as lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, mobile audio/video players to more complex ones capable of performing as human assistants such as robots. Higher tiered systems typically reside in the cloud. Lower tiered mobile units contain modular sensors such as temperature sensor and image/video cameras that generate vast amount of data. The lower tiered mobile units also contain modular emitters that consume vast amount of data. Restrictions for the usage of these mobile units are sent, in the form of metadata, to the lower tiered mobile units, from an intermediate to higher tiered control devices and the rendering app may limit the usage. The intermediate tiered renderer can interact to make sure rules have been followed.

STALK PULLER

A stalk puller to be used with or without a mower/shredder utilizes a pair of independently mounted discs converging along their lower edge to grasp and pull stalks from the ground as the stalk puller is moved down the row by a prime mover. At least one of the discs is urged against the other by a spring such that the associated disc may allow rocks and debris to pass between the discs without damage. The spring mounting reduces adjustments due to normal wear as well as damage from debris.

The method further includes transferring the recorded data from the harvesting machine to an external data store; causing moveable secondary processing machinery to retrieve at least some data on the secondarily processable harvest product from the data store; and controlling one or more controllable parameters of the secondary processing machinery based on the retrieved data during operation of the secondary processing machinery to process the secondarily processable harvest product.

The connecting arm (60) is selectively connected to at least one of at least two working heads (200) configured to perform different work tasks. The connecting arm (60) includes a connecting structure (64) configured to be connected to the working head (200) and a connecting component (62) configured to connect the connecting structure (64) to the body (20).

The cutting blade is rotatable within a cutting plane. A harvesting machine along with a method of operating the harvesting machine. The harvesting machine includes a frame having a first end and a second end. A rotatable pick-up head is pivotally mounted on the first end and is capable of urging a crop into the machine. A cutting mechanism is mounted on a bottom plate for cutting the stems of the plants. A crimper mechanism is positioned downstream of the bottom plate and is capable of compacting the cut stems into a moving web. A moisture removal mechanism is positioned after the crimper mechanism to lower the moisture in the cut stems. A crop converging mechanism is located downstream of the moisture removal mechanism and reduces the width of the moving web into a ribbon. A chopper then chops the ribbon into small pieces so that they can be blown into a storage wagon for transport.

The epicyclical drive gear train rotates in a first direction and the shaft is configured to rotate the epicyclical driven gear train in a second direction opposite the first direction or in the same direction as the first direction. Each of the epicyclical drive gear train and epicyclical driven gear train includes a bevel gear for operatively engaging bevel gears on the shaft. Operation of the epicyclical drive gear train and epicyclical driven gear train results in substantially linear oscillating motion of the cutter bars.
