Multi-outlet channel combination gas valve

A multi-outlet channel combination gas valve includes a valve body, a solenoid valve and a flow regulating mechanism. The valve body has a multiple of air outlets, at least two outlet channels formed between each air outlet and an air inlet of the valve body, a regulating port disposed in the at least two outlet channels, and the flow regulating mechanism can regulate the gas flow passing through each regulating port of the valve body at the same time, and a solenoid valve with a dual-coil electromagnet structure. When the valve is opened, a relatively larger current is passed, and then a very small current will be provided thereafter to maintain an operation by low power consumption. Therefore, this gas valve can be used without a mains power, and a low-level regulating structure is provided for presetting a low-level flow of each air outlet.

Gas Burner Control Ball Valve
20220010959 · 2022-01-13 · ·

A control gas ball valve for high pressure gas cooking appliances provides a linear surface slot along its rotation direction. When turned by a control knob and enters a gas inlet, the said surface slot is able to channel gas input to a hole that connects said surface slot to the center of the valve ball. The gas in the center of the valve ball is directed away to a burner for cooking purposes. The said linear surface slot is able to provide constant flowrate slope for continuously variable power adjustment and a maximum power plateau. These are the most desirable features in residential cooking.

Gas valve bracket

A gas cooktop appliance includes a control panel and a fuel supply line. A gas valve is positioned on the fuel supply line. A bracket includes a top bracket portion extending over a top of the fuel supply line. A bottom bracket portion extends under a bottom of the fuel supply line. The bottom bracket portion is mounted to the top bracket portion. A mounting flange is connected to one or both of the top and bottom bracket portions. The mounting flange is positioned at and attached to a rear surface of the control panel that faces the fuel supply line and the gas valve.

SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR HYDROGEN COMBUSTION
20220003406 · 2022-01-06 ·

The invention relates to a system and process for hydrogen combustion for industrial or steam generation applications, and more particularly to a hydrogen combustion burner or retrofit kit combustion system and process using a primary pure hydrogen fuel source. The burner or retrofit kit combustion system and process may also use one or more secondary fuels, such as natural gas, methane, propane, or the like, to reduce emissions of CO.sub.2. Additionally, the inventive burner, system and process can use a flame temperature reducing fluid for lowering the bulk flame temperature of the burner to increase equipment life and decrease equipment failure. The flame temperature reducing fluid can include flue gas recirculation (FGR), water injection, steam injection, and a combination thereof.

COOKTOP GAS SAFETY VALVE HOLD OPEN CIRCUIT WITH CERAMIC HEATER
20220003419 · 2022-01-06 ·

A cooking gas safety apparatus is shown and described. The apparatus includes a cooking gas safety valve assembly that supplies cooking gas to one or more burners. The cooking gas safety assembly includes at least one coil that is energizable to hold the valve assembly in an open position when subjected to a current that exceeds a threshold value and a hold open circuit. The hold open circuit comprises the coil and a hot surface igniter that is in electrical communication with the coil. The valve assembly is actuated by manually opening the valve and energizing the igniter such that it receives a threshold current that corresponds to an autoignition temperature of the gas. At the threshold current, an electromagnet in the cooking gas safety valve assembly holds the valve open so that it remains open without user intervention. In the event of an igniter failure, the current flow to the coil ceases, causing the valve to shut and cease gas flow to the burner. In certain examples, hold open circuit allows the igniter to operate off of alternating current while the coil receives a time-varying, direct current.

Knob mechanism for gas cooktop

A knob assembly for a gas cooktop may include a knob configured to control a flow of gas from a burner of a cooktop starting at a resting position, the knob defining a hollow interior and having a support cylinder extending vertically through the hollow interior, wherein the support cylinder includes a projection flap protruding therefrom, an inner lock ring arranged at least partially within the hollow interior of the knob and having a chamfered region defining a ring opening adjacent an inclined portion, where the opening is configured to selectively receive the projection flap in response to depression of the knob and where the projection flap slides along the inclined portion in response to subsequent rotation of the knob, the inclined portion imparting frictional resistance on the projection flap to prevent against unintentional rotation of the knob.
